Great detailed video. the CX plus is now on my wishlist for a mid-range earbud to upgrade to with an emphasis on sound quality with included ANC. Currently own a Edifier TWS 1 pro.

Am I correct in my assumption that you would still recommend the Momentum True Wireless 2 over these? There’s not much of a price difference. Also, do you happen to know if the improved ANC (and apparently the ability to use either side independently, not just the right “master”) are also available in the Momentum now? Thanks!

I would still recommend the MTW2 for sound quality, yes. As for ANC, not sure can't say - but I've been told by others that thanks to recent FW updates the MTW2's ANC performance is far better than it was at launch!

3 pros is hands down the best. Cx is miles away in terms of sound quality. Cx is comparablr to cheap soundpeats brand

I got both and returning the L3P. Sound quality is much better and wider on the CX Plus. They sound natural and non computerized. I listen to mainly hip hop and trap and the bass is sooooo good. I try some old rock like led Zeppelin and rush and I can say that it sounded like front row concert seat. They are that accurate at reproducing instruments and sound.I also didn't like the confort and the latency on games of the L3P. The noise cancelling is slightly better on L3P than CX Plus but the Cx had better passif noise cancelling. Overall I prefer the Sennheiser for the sound since you can hear details that you haven't heard before and they are good for every genre of music

First off, thanks for your great wireless earbud reviews. I'm at a bit of a loss, and was hoping you might be able to offer some advice. I've been trying to find the ideal true wireless ANC earbuds and am struggling... Over the last month I've tried the following: - Beats Pro Buds - Sony WH-1000XM4 - Bose QuietComfort Buds - Sennheiser Momentum 2 - Sennheiser CX Plus Of all these, I liked the Sennheiser Momentum 2's the best, but just couldn't get a comfortable fit. The tips themselves were fine in my ears. The issue was the "ridge" or "seam" between the the part of the bud that enters the ear and the round housing (where the mics are located, etc.) It's two pieces as opposed to one seamless piece of plastic. The hard plastic of the seam comes into contact with my upper ear, causing a lot of wearing fatigue. The ANC was also pretty mediocre. With that said, I returned these and got the CX Plus. While these were a slightly better fit, the sound quality was not close to the Momentum 2s. As for the others, they were all worse, in this order (best to worst): Bose QC Buds, Sony 1000XM4s, and Beats Pro Buds. Now I've returned the CX Plus and my journey continues. I've even wondered if I should give up on buds altogether, and just get a pair of over ear headphones, like the Bose 700s or WF-1000XM4s. These will mostly be used for air travel, and also for watching TV, or things on my Android phone (Pixel 6 Pro), at night when my wife is sleeping (the sound from the TV bothers her if she is trying to sleep). I will also listen to music occasionally and use them for a conference call every now and then. Any recommendations or advice would be sincerely appreciated! Thanks... Once again, great channel and thanks for the hard work. The video about your charity work and your Grandma was especially touching.

In terms of your search for earbuds, depends how important ANC is to you vs sound quality? And to throw another spanner in the works, call quality. Ones to consider, other than the ones you've tried: -Jabra Elite 7 Pro: excellent call and sound quality, very comfortable, but expensive and ANC isn't that great -NuraTrue: Good ANC, decent all round sound quality, but poor recoding quality, and potentially fit issues due to size -Libratone Track Air+ or Gen2: Best design (feel and style), excellent ANC but recessed mids and average call quality How do the above sound to you? Note, I've got a review of them all on the channel :)

@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks! I watched the review on the NuraTrue, and was actually considering those, but then saw mixed comments and decided they might not be the best choice. In terms of my criteria, I would rank them as follows: 1) Sound Quality 2) Comfort 3) ANC 4) Call Quality 5) Cost Cost isn't a huge concern, and I would even consider the B&O Beoplay EQ if they were perfect, but even those have some mixed reviews. If I could have found a way to get the Sennheister Momentum 2s to fit comfortably, I would have been delighted to stick with those. I was blown away by the sound quality, the ANC was "good enough" and call quality was fine. I liked the fact that the M2's had great bass, but also picked up all the details in music, movies, etc. Given all that, do you have my thoughts on where to go next? I've been considering all these: - NuraTrue - B&O Beoplay EQ - Liberty 3 Pro - Edifier Neobuds Pro ...but very open to other suggestions. Thanks again!

@@TotallydubbedHD I got the Jabras today and tried them out. So, the fit, comfort and ANC were all perfect for me (exactly what I wanted), but the sound quality just didn't measure up to the Sennheiser Momentum 2 True Wireless for my ears. Part of me wishes I never heard the Senns, because now that is the benchmark :) I guess I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind... 1) Is there anything out there that sounds better than the Senns? 2) What is it in the sound of the Senns that I'm not finding in other earbuds (from a technical perspective) is it bass, mids, highs, etc? I can't put my finger on it. What I can tell you is that when I listen to "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake, the bass guitar in the background just comes alive on the Sennheiser M2s and on literally every other buds I've heard, it sounds a bit dull/flat. Would love to get your thoughts...

@@Matt_UKTX oh interesting, see I prefer the audio quality of the Jabras on the whole. Presume you fiddled with the EQ? To answer your question: 1. Can't think of anything other than the Grado GT220 2. Mids; they're forward and accurate in this region, but they'll be bass light. They also have great width (soundstage), and in that song, that's where you'd be hearing the nuances - thus why other might sound 'flat'. But instrument separation still goes to the Jabras!

Overall the CX Plus, but the Jabras are better in bass. Surprised you don't like the fit, not sure the Senns will be for you then

How do these compare to the Jabra Elite 75t? Especially sound quality wise.

75t sound warmer, more bass (definitely more sub-bass tones) but lack the same mid-range accuracies and forward sound as the Senns. Instrument separation is also better on the Senns.

@@TotallydubbedHD Thank you for your response! Both are the same price in my country (Jabra Elite Active* 75t), but the sub-bass response is tempting as they will be used frequently in the gym as well. Would you recommend anything else over both?

Jbl club pro plus is the king not even close. Please make a review on it . Play on the equalizer because it’s the best. The equalizer is like studio quality.

Just got these, and yeah they are very nice, blah blah blah, but there is one flaw that no one has mentioned which is a big deal for the majority of my listening. When using just one ear bud at a time, all of the noise cancelling is disabled!! AAAHHHH!!!! I got them to listen to audio books and podcast while working, so I need one ear free for real world listening. When one ear bud is in there is a TON of background noise, a TON. There is a way to cheat this, with the other bud on, you can place it in the case kind of horizontal in the bud slot so that the pressure points are triggered and then close the case. In the end both buds are playing but you are only using one, the ANC only works when both buds are playing. If anyone has a true fix to this please leave a comment. Oh and, Facts, these thing do sound really, REALLY good, +2 bass, 0 mid, +1 treble, with +3 db @ 31Hz (only) in my VLC app. Perfection!

Why would you have ANC on one earbud, while the other ear can hear all ambient sound - can see why Sennheiser didn't include this, and to me, isn't a feature I'd look towards; but everyone is different I guess - glad you're enjoying them.

@@TotallydubbedHD meant to delete, but after a final update on the app this was resolved. Clear sound is clear sound, whether it's one ear bud or two, and now it works very well.
