Think I am gonna get one if there is no major update for Momentum TW3. This needs to be compared with Yamaha and Technics when it comes to sound, not Jabra.

Thanks, and for the comparison to the CX400BT which I love the sound of. Mic seems worse with this new one (no particular tinny sound on my CX400BT) tho better battery life and IPX rating are nice to have if they've not compromised the sound in the process (seems to be a balancing act since good amps use power). Just wondering whether you noticed any change to the latency.

@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks, yep not a big issue for me (mainly use for music) with the old cx400bt but slightly noticeable delay with the RU-vid app and very noticeable with RU-vid in a browser.

@@GIChow odd, what codec and phone were you using? Shouldn't be an issue with aptX in operation!

@@TotallydubbedHD Samsung S7..in developer options I select 'All codecs' and it goes to aptX when I connect the cx400bt. Btw doesn't happen *all* the time with the RU-vid app but noticed it with this TWS (cx400bt) while not several others including super cheapo ones.

CX400 are on sale now for something like 99 EUR. Would they provide better sound quality, or would new CX weather sealing, battery life and overally new tech prevail? :-)

Good findings, i was thinking the same, what is the point if launching these when we have cx400 bt in the market, moreover i think lyertek tevi or soundfree s20 would be better option in terms of audio quality in this price range. What is your opinion buddy.

Thanks! In terms of mid-range presence and quality, both the Tevi and Levi cannot compete in this domain; the Senns would still be my pick if that's what you're after!

What about a more improved momentum 3 with a wider soundstage with a Tighter more Accurate Bass response with a improved battery life from 17 hrs to 25 hrs.

Imo I felt the CX was clearer than the Jabra's, I liked the highs rather than the super bassy jabras

I have the 400BT's as well. The bass can be tuned pretty easily from the app but I'm OK with it out of the box. I really want to replace mine with the True Wireless but idk. If it's a real improvement in the midrange compared to the BT's, I might take the leap.

@@housepianist I’ve had the Cambridge audio melomania and Jabra 85t, and I prefer the sound of the sennheisers. But I do miss the fullness and presence of the mid bass that the CA can achieve, which the Sennheisers cannot even with the bass turned all the way up. Overall, still amazing sound.

Do we have to unpair the older device before connecting to a newer one in CX400BT, or some sort of switch is provided in the universal app ? I have some older earbuds and pretty annoyed with unpairing it each time

@@johnnam8095 85t are superior in most ways, but I preferred the 75t due to better passive noise isolation and fit. Senns will give you better mids, while Jabras 85t, better call quality, ANC and better all-round fun sound
