Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC - 3 Years Later! Tech Rewind Ep. 1 

Still using them myself. Still quite happy. Love the sound and the battery still does a good job. People with huge ears might go for a complete round ear shell. Comfort is very good though. Even with huge ears 😅👂 I find the noise cancelling soothing while using it for example in the subway. Have no comparison with more modern noise cancelling though. Would you recoomend the more recent HD 450 BT or the old HD 4.50 BTNC?

I agree with the hard case instead of a soft one...it doesn't make it easy to travel with. I have a pair of bose that I love alot.

Just purchased from Amazon and they were a steal for 70 GBP (about 93 USD). They had already gone down to 99 but I chose to buy a "used but like new" pair which were 70. It was practically new anyway, just a few scratches on the box. Nice sound and good noise cancelling (though I'm not an audiophile), bit tight clamping and I got used to it after two days, Bluetooth/NFC connectivity is great and but switches between two devices with a very small delay. It does, however, beep whenever you adjust volume level which is slightly annoying but I got used to it. They're really good for the price + age although I'm considering returning them for a personal reason. I'm deaf in one ear and didn't realise how disorienting having noice cancelling headphones were, so I'm going to try the Soundcore Q30 instead because it has that ambient/transparency noise function. I think I would keep the Sennheiser otherwise, especially at the price I got them. Also, great format for reviews, time is a significant measure of quality we don't normally have access to. Hope you continue to review more aged tech!

This isn't really related to this video but its comparing these with the 350BT. Just a quick opinion I have to mention here... How can the 4.50 BTNC be better than the 350BT when the 350BT has USB C Charging over Micro USB? I own the 350BT's and tested out a second hand pair of 4.50's today and there was absolutely no difference in sound quality, loudness or anything. I didn't test out the noise cancelling because I'm only new to the wireless headphone genre but I couldn't even tell the headphones apart if I had a blindfold on, the only difference to me would.be the obvious silver plastic on the 4.50's I also understsnd the benefit of the 3.5mm cable the 4.50's have over the 350's and I looked at the comparison carefully but I think this is just based on what people find appealing about both pairs when (to me) they sound exactly the same. It wasn't like the 4.50's were extra loud, had punchier bass or anything. I couldn't tell the difference. Thanks for reading 🙂

This headphones are great. But using them on iOS have a big trouble that a feedback sound beeps with every interaction (volume change or track skip) so it is kind of a deal breaker for me to use them with an iphone since it is very annoying. Also can't upgrade firmware (if this is fixed) since the Sennheiser app is not compatible with this model. Great headphones but with some shortcomings for me. With some other non-ios devices they work fine, without the annoying feedback sound.

I just wanted to say, don’t pick up these shit ass headphones, they beep, and I mean beep A LOT, each time u try to skip a track or some shit, specially if have a iPhone, and they tear up the cups, overtime, so yeah spare your money, buy some other fkng headphones
