Ah cool man, I wish I could have gotten the all-black version. When I ordered online, only the red was on sale. Can't wait to try them out though, package is supposed to arrive Saturday.
I got this recently, I do not know where I pressed but now the wireless option don't want to work, it keeps telling me "lost connection" any one else have same problem and know how to help me, I really don't like connecting the Cort 🙄...
I just picked up a pair of these, and there amazing with e drums. The noise canceling works to mute the sticks. You can still hear some of the sticking on the pads, but it works better than my in ear monitors.
@@khacduy2327 Yes they are the same ones. The price is back up to $80 now, but still an exceptional deal. The HD 4.50 BTNC, HD 4.50r, and HD 4.50 SE are all the same headphone, with noise-canceling. The SE is an Amazon exclusive. The HD 4.40 is the model that does not have noise-canceling.
Hey what's your opinion on using them for longer hours cause I plan to use them for gaming and others complaining it gets uncomfortable after extended usage
I got a pair of these yesterday, they're definitely really nice, especially for using with a phone for calls and so on. Not sure how I rate them on the comfort level yet, I think long term use they might feel uncomfy.. the cups are pretty small imo. This guy in the vid says its one of the comfiest headphones ever. My other headphones (which I've had a hard time replacing & will never get rid of) Senheisser 555's are absolute 10/10 on the comfort scale. They blow these ones away on the comfort level, so I definitely don't rate these as comfortable as the guy in this video did. Still though, they aren't bad either & it is definitely a lot nicer being wireless with a headset Thanks for the video
This is the third video I've watched about these headphones and none have mentioned the Bluetooth connectability. I had no problem getting the headphones to pair up with my tablet, but neither my desktop computer nor the TV (Samsung Series 7) are seeing the headphones much less connecting to them. I bought these primarily so that I could better hear the television at night (I have tinnitus) without having to turn it up. Am I missing something?
Yeet Hah, good point ! :). And even the TV and the PC have - there may be a few settings to be made, it won't work out of the box. PC's usually don't come neither with a wifi, neither with a bluetooth card, it has to be installed additionally.
I have one! One warning though, if you have bigger ears they don't fit perfectly, I have to shove mine in a little to get it to work, fit may vary! Bought them on a airport with sweet discount and very happy with it. Good enough for scratch mixing once you learn the bias (200-400hz and bit pushed on 2.6k)
I have the Sennheiser HD 4.40 bluetooth headphones and I'm very pleased with them. I'm not sure the difference between mine and the 4.50s, but mine are about $60-70 cheaper, so it's something else to consider if you're looking for some nice BT headphones at a bit of a lower price point.
Goose I just got these last month from best buy for $79.99! I think they’re still selling at that price. I only opened them on January 6th for Armenian Christmas so I’ve only used them a few days. At that price, you can’t go wrong. They are probably my best sounding BT ANC headphones I’ve owned, although making calls is less than stellar. For some reason, if the ANC is on, when you make a call and the phone is ringing, the microphone picks up all the sounds around you. Very annoying! At full price, I might’ve returned them, but they are a steal at under $100.
I want to believe this so bad but there's so many reviews of the 4.40 and 4.50 saying how uncomfortable they are. I also having trouble finding if there are substantial difference between the two besides NC. Thanks for the review!
The exact same thing is happening to me. This happens when you use the phone's mic, it drops audio quality, which to me was fine because I dont need the mic. But I cant turn it off.

When you use bluetooth, sound is streamed digitally to the headphone and you are using the DA (digital to analog) converter of the headphone. When you plug it into your PC, you send an analogue signal/you use the DA converter of your PC/sound card. Which in your case seems to be lower quality than what we have in the headphone. You need a better sound card if you want a better sound with the cable. (You can buy pretty good USB ones.)
i was actually considering these a few weeks ago, havent ordered a pair yet because im not finding as much time to listen to music away from home as i was.
I had these for like 12 hours. I tried them in store and I thought they were the second best after the Sony 1000xm3. Both for sound quality and noise cancelling. I actually preferred these rather than the nose qc35 ii in terms of sound quality. (It's my personal point of view). Since they retail for half the price of the 1000xm3, I bought the sennheiser 4.50. After purchasing them, I tried them at home for 2 hours, really enjoyed the sound and comfort but I realised my girlfriend was singing the songs I was listening to. I tried to put the headphones on my leg so as to test the isolation and realised they have a very poor isolation. Meaning everybody can listen to what I was listening to as if I was wearing speakers on my ears. Thus, I returned them the day after and bought the 1000xm3. If you don't mind disturbing your colleagues and people you're sitting next to, feel free to buy these. Otherwise I recommend you not to.
Seriously, thanks. I'm just getting into the 'audiophile' thing, and I'm baffled by how much people seem to ignore the whole disturbance thing when jizzing over these products.
Honestly, I wouldn't have guessed you were talking about the 4.50 with that description if you didn't specify. If it was really that bad, I think that specific unit you bought must have been defective or something, because that's not the case with mine at all. I tried to do the leg test you mentioned and I could just barely hear the percussion while at maximum volume, which is absurdly loud on ear. At normal volumes (about 60% max. to me) I couldn't hear anything at all, even in a mostly quiet environment and paying attention to it. Are you sure it wasn't just loose on your leg and/or head? It was quite loud before I adjusted it to fit my leg as well as it does my head.
@@rintohsaka1928 Well, what i understood is - there is no way to have it off by default, when the unit is turned on. I dont really want to turn it off every time, and i know you can do it with pressing both volume buttons , which is kind of a pain.
This headphone looks very interesting to me. How does it perform as a recording or studio headphones? Additionally, I got a Mark V 25 and sometimes I want to play until late. Living in a small apartment in Japan, I can’t do much noise. Do you think this headphone can sound good when plugged in this amp? Thanks!!
Don't by these if you like to be in motion or like radio and talking! Three reasons; 1. The 4.50 have serious problems dealing with shock. When you run or walk aggressively, each step makes a really annoying sound in the headphones. You have to turn off the noice cancelling to avoid this. 2. I looses bluetooth connection with your phone... ALL the time! Specially when listening to radio and there are pockets of silence in the program. I been using this with iPhone 7 Plus and Xs Plus... same problem. 3. The mic sucks. But again... that goes for most these kind of headphone. But is you sit still and has it plugged in... the Riffguy is totally right. The sound is great and they are super comfy. But if you are Addicted to Base (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jU4VuN9EW9U.html), they are not your best choice.. like 9MM said below.
How do you get a wired connection? I connected the headphones to my computer using the cable that came in the box and I got nothing. Can you help? I’d love to connect these to my Denon amplifier but no luck
i dont find it very comfortable, the headband is thin but they are quite stiff which is good if you move around a lot but for sit down and listen, not so much. 1 hour is ok, i find my ear get hot pretty fast maybe after 15 mins and the feeling never really go away until i take off the headphone, after 1 hour it just start to hurt a little. mind you im wearing glasses, so if you also wear glasses you might need to take this into consideration.
great, planning on purchasing these, my problem with headphones has always been their focus on bass and they always sound so muddy especially since I primarily listen to metal and need to hear nuances.
Were super uncomfortable for the first 3-4 months i had these. bu tigot used to them after that. these were my first ever over ear ones tho, so i guess i had to get used to the product caegory too. after breaking them in they gradually did become just like he said in the review
As someone who both uses them and has been in the presence of someone else using them, I think the bleed out is rather minimal. Not sure if it's quiet enough for something like tracking vocals and making sure the backing track doesn't bleed through, but I think you'd be safe with 'em.
Jonathan Benjamin does the 4.40 really sounds better than 4.50 ?? I read an article saying that the 4.40 has more warm sound than the 4.50. What do you think ?
I think they do have an all black option from what I remember of the listing on Amazon. For some reason though, I seem to remember them being more expensive, which is silly.
wow the regular silver and grey are on sale right now for 99 USD and the Black (HD 4.50 Special Edition) ones are still at 199 USD crazy 100 bucks just for the black paint. now i cant help but wonder how the more expensive 550's compare to the 4.50's
I know i'm not Fluff, but all I seem to hear about Beats is that you're paying for a name above anything else - haven't had a chance to listen to anything with 'em myself, though.
Justin Kroboth I have a pair is Solo3s and I really like them. I don’t care about the brand. I actually like than for their sound quality. Now. The Beats brand has big claims about noise canceling and, at least on the Solos, it’s not very good. I haven’t tried studios in a noisy area.
Rin Tohsaka I only buy stuff when they are on sale. My college has a certified Apple store and they’re always having sales so I got air pods super cheap and I got beats for super cheap and I know they are quality
Thanks for the video... quick question i have the Audio Technica ATH M40x and i want to buy me a new gift... is the Sennheiser HD 4.50 SE better than the Audio Technica ATH M40x, i would not want to buy a headphones of lower sound quality, thanks.
Headphones are probably just as contentious a field as guitar amps and pedals :) Everyone swears by their own faves so what one person loves, there will always be others who can't stand them. Sennheisers are one of those brands that you just can't really go wrong with, provided you have experience with their sound signature and you like the way they EQ their products. Like many others around here, I am a bit of a headphone/IEM junkie and I certainly have my own personal preferences as well. Bose QCs? I find them great but TBH totally not worth the money any more, not with far better sounding [to my ears] and lower priced options out there these days. The new Sonys everyone is raving about on youtube are indeed fantastic IMO and they of course feature the typical Sony sound signature - enhanced low end, but not to ludicrous Beats levels, forward mids and crisp highs, all with a pretty great soundstage. Haven't heard these yet but I did plan to check them out for myself. Good call - Senns are a very safe bet for clean, fairly transparent, punchy yet still neutral cans. :D A good option for a mid-priced quality pair. cheers!
How I see the sound quality? I tried the jbls Quincy edition and they very bad on Bluetooth . I'm looking for a sound similar to audio tecnica but wireless
"most confortable headphones" be little careful here, i have them and i dont think they are that confortable. You need to mention that depending on the head. You may find them good but you need to mention "not for everyone". I find them very tiresome after about 20 minutes on my head due to "fake leather" and too much of it. The space is very limited for your ears.
Got the 4.40, 2 weeks ago, its a good quality headphone but im kinda disappointed , the BASS is too low you barely feel it and the f**king treble is so high which is really annoying especially for someone with hurting ears. İ rate these headphones as: Treble-focused instead of (Balanced). İ have really small head and ears which makes a the headphones look giant on my head and yet STİLL they get really uncomfortable around my ears after like 30 minutes i have to take them off so yes the people are right when they talk about comfort issues. Anyways that was my first premium headphones in my life so it was a good start and now i know what to look for in future.
I must have a big head and ears. Because I had the 4.50R and they were so tight my brain wanted to come out. Seriously though they gave me a bad migraine. They did sound excellent though.
