I personally went with Sennheiser, as preferred their sound signature, having several products from them, also now Momentum 4 app has 5 band EQ with their latest update.
Thank you for this video and review of both headphones! Never thought this will be so tough decision. Bought both to test them out, and in terms of music they’re very close, but M4’s are just a bit better when it comes to EDM. The bass has more deep, yet it does not cover other layers of music. But until you check them one after another you wouldn’t feel that px7’s are lacking something. My heart would pick blue Px7 S2 as they look stunning and premium. I don’t like the build quality of M4’s, it feels like cheap plastic that would break by just looking at them. And those hinges have little bit of looseness. But lower price point, better audio, more features in app (they added 5-band EQ!), and better comfort (less clamping force, better weight distribution, less ear sweating and slightly more room for ears) made me pick momentum 4’s.
No problem at all! There are pros and cons to both pairs of headphones. It primarily comes down to what the user is looking for… I really appreciate you taking the time to break down your experiences of both headphones! The Senn's to me [and I know sound quality is subjective] has superior sound - with amazing extended sub bass.. To me, the Senn's also sounded more open, airy and clear.. and the PX7 S2 's sounded muffled - both in regards to music quality. BTW, the latest firmware for the Senn's app has increased the EQ from a 3-band to a 5-band.. nice. I ordered my Senn's. Your review was excellent! Too many reviewers sneak in their personal biases.. but you didn't! I especially like that! IMHO, your review was the best I've watched!

Thanks for the comparison dude. I went with the M4 after I cleared out all other competitors around. The video helped me a lot, even if I love the blue B&W 😍 they are so pretty ... But I love my grey/white MR since they arrived today.
The momentum 4's were such a let down for me, even with the equalizer, I couldn't get the perfect sound. The PX7's were louder imo. After turning up the bass and the treble a few notches, they sound amazing. I'll eventually get the PX8's real soon.
My minor contribution to the debate I was able to test the B&W PX7 S2, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 and the B&W PX7 S2e, To start with the B&W PX7 S2, good build quality. Neutral reproduction, precise soundstage, but all a little congested. Then the Momentum 4, deep bass, but it makes mush in the mids as soon as there are a lot of elements. Not a huge fan of touch controls but I must admit that it works well. Deplorable manufacturing quality however (all plastic). I even ordered it twice to really make sure it didn't work with me :-) Then the B&W PX7 S2e: like the B&W PX7 S2 but with an opening of the soundstage. It's perfect, i kept it ! I could have had even better with the PX8 but it's out of the budget...
Hey, super video ! Helped me a lot to buy my new sennheiser m4, wich i love ! But i just feel that the voice ans vocals are a bit absents, do you have any eq settings to make them more clear and loud ?
I have my Momentum 4 and the only thing i am not so happy with is the leatherette on the earcups and the weight of the geadphones. Other than that they are perfect. Allthough I never reached that 60 hour batery life. For me it is 4 hours of usage for 10% of batery. So 40 hours. But still great. And of course the sound makes it worth! I also uninstalled the app as i have no reason to keep it in my phone once everything is set.
Nice video as always. Keep up the good work. Out of the two, i would prefer the PX7 S2. I own both of them but the PX7S2 has something. Might be its design, looks more stylish and premium
@Angel Sales These are probably some of the best headphones you can get at this price point. You’re getting a lot of the PX8 in these headphones and the PX8 is one of my go to headphones. Both headphones are great collectors, but if I was choosing one, it would be the Momentum 4. The Momentum 4 also has great features with the sound. I hope this helps!
Not currently in the market for such a headphone as I am quite happy with what I own already but in watching your video I'm wondering if those earcups are big enough to fit my not overly large ears inside. Are they on the smaller side of the spectrum? Nice video which I'm sure will help others.
Welcome back! Both headphones have good spacing in the ear cups. I don’t have small ears either, but I have never had issues with my ears rubbing against either of these headphones. The tilting ear cups really help in that regard. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch even though you’re currently not in the market. I appreciate your support!
I can definitely do that! I’m working on a Sennheiser Momentum 4 vs AirPods Max video and can put together a vs Bose QC45 as well. @jeid I've been going back and forth with this question and listening again and again. I take back what I said about the PX7 S2 sounding better. Voices sound a bit better on the PX7 S2, but the overall package on the momentum 4 (highs, mids, and lows) is something special. The Momentum 4 has a good number of features and overall sounds better in my opinion. I deleted the previous answer and apologize for the confusion, but the Momentum 4 is very hard to beat at its price point!
And now the px7 s2e came out oh brother haha. Great video btw i think ill go with the px7s over the m4s because of the butyon controlls and design. Are you gking to test out the px7 s2e?

Am about to test both and find it the same. The design is better with B&W, but momentum 4 sound is much more voluminous, multi-layered, finely tuned. Oh, and I just love the bass of momentum 4. The same thing I already appreciate with the little brother momentum 3 wireless in-ear. But this is all very subjective.
The bass in M4 is more expressed in lower frequencies than the px7 but I think the sounds stage is wider in the px7 only slightly. Here’s the thing. Both headphones sound amazing the little nuance can only be heard switching back and forth. However the bass is dramatically better on the M4. The px7 look and feel better though. Some M4s have had connection issues. Just update firmware or do a factory reset. The ANC is better on the px7 but I think it’s because they have a better seal. The M4 block random sounds better for some reason. Like chatter. But on a plane or near a fan or single frequency noise the px7 will be better. But in a public space the M4 might work better. They just don’t go as loud at the px7

Well, the review is made propperly WELL - detailed, engaging and convincing, HOW EVER - I HAVE heared the PX8, and if you say that the PX7 are ALMOST as GOOD as the PX8 - wel - I simply don't know how to refere to this clip 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂ From my personal experience - the PX8 are PUSE SHIT !!! They suck ass, and not only for the over, over, over-blown price ! They sound really, REALLY CRAPPY - like no name, cheap copy from e-bay !!! I also, have the Momentum 4, that clearly, are far better than the PX8... Did you actually, LISTEN to the PX8 ?? - Some, youtubers say that the PX7 sound, far better than the PX8 ... I don't know - never had the PX7
