So the new Bowers And Wilkins PX7 S2 is mostly a cosmetic upgrade from the PX7’s. The PX7 S2’s look better, they feel better and they fit better too. Now personally, I enjoy the PX7 S2’s and their more premium build quality and elegant design… but they defiantly aren’t perfect and they aren’t for everyone. But today we’re going to compare the PX7 S2’s to the AirPods Max… which to my discontent… are more popular than id like.

you guys have to actually try b&w px7 s2. the best one yet out there. I tried more than 10+ headphones and it was the one. kinda heavier/tighter than sony (which fits soo comfy) but the sound, cant compare.

I'm set on buying both px7 s2 and airpod max 2 around March 2023 when they come out, but for now I must try pz7 s2 sound and return if it don't enjoy the bass.

Another headphone to consider would be the PSB M4U 8 MKii They like the momentum 4's and the Bowers and Wilkins are geared more towards sound quality.

I own Sennheiser Momentum 4 for 2 days, it sounds amazing, but the ANC is awful....When I use it, even though I use the strongest ANC of M4, I can clearly hear almost everything on the street or subway or even any sound at home when I am watching movie...I am wondering if B&W PX7 S2's ANC is better than M4 or not?

How would you say the PX7 s2 wired played back is being that it uses an adapter? I invested a lot in wired audio cables just to get the best experience, now I feel like that will be hindered because of the need to use a cheap adapter

The DAC. The PX7 S2 have a built in DAC that not one ☝️ f it’s competitors have. Wire them in with hi-Rez streaming and their sound quality becomes unrivalled. Go find a potable DAC plus headphone combination for this money. The PX7 S2 are a bargain, if listening to high quality sound is the reason for having headphones

Have them all, PX , PX7 and PX7II. All of them have thier own singnature. As user of B&W 801 you can not refuse. Now we waiting for the PX8 .The MK 2 is much cleaner than the older models. Perfect for classic music, too.

I just pre-order my Sennheiser Momentum 4 • My first choice was PX8 but couldn't wait that long because I'm giving the h95's to a sibling. • Also I needed bass i always had bright, neutral headphones good headphones from AKG... I can't wait 👌

tried both, answer is absolutely noooo. im a big fan of b&o but their wireless headphones are a huge disappointment overall. the px7 s2, best experience out there for now… although sound is a bit crisp and sharp to my ears. cant compare to hx or h95.

Wow thank you im skipping airpod max until the second release so defjnetly ordering px7 s2 right now (I don't like senhesier its too soft and gentle for me with not much excitement / 3d like soundstage which I belive comes from GOOD dsp) i hope the px7 s2 bass does not disappoint me for edm/trance/progressive planning to use them wired with fiio k2 i love their build quality the most as its proper next gen then the airpod max.

@@eliadracini3289 I tested both px7 s2 and px7 s2e. Px7 s2e punchier bass but it has less sub bass then px7 s2. Px7 s2e did sound more accurate overall not just the bass. I'm selling px7 s2 for highly discounted price, only used it less then 5 times.

Nice video, but I really disliked your initial bias against the Apple's, this seemed like your video will go toward deciding in favor toward the PX7 S2 without giving a fair try; granted that all comparisons are highly subjective but to what I've seen on other comparisons, both headphones are really competitive and high quality. Yes, AirPods will work best on the Apple ecosystem (spatial audio, for example); however, there's something that I haven't seen in any review and that is comparing the sound quality when using AAC vs Aptx vs LDAC vs wired. Everyone talk about the lack of support of Aptx in the Apple ecosystem, but no-one actually do make a comparison so we can try to hear the difference between each codec.

I have the 3’s and love them…I have been a Fan of Sennheiser’s for what? 20 years. I still use the Sennheiser’s Momentum True Wireless 2’s and a Month ago I got the new Momentum True Wireless 3’s. Which sound better than the Two’s and were 50 dollars cheaper. I am not sure..yet..if I will buy the new Sennheiser’s 4 headphones, Though I was truly excited that they are truly good and that Sennheiser Changed the design.

Very disappointed in my Px7 S2. Nowhere near as good sound wise using Spotify on iPhone as my AirPod pros! After all the rave reviews I feel I have completed wasted my money.

When I first purchased my Px7 S2 headphones, I had the same thought. When I contacted the manufacturer, they advised me to use them for at least 50 hours of playback so the drivers could break in and make the headphones sound fuller and more rounded. They are now fantastic.
