Either you use a neutral phone for all earphones or a specific phone for all earphones. Using an iPhone give the AirPods advantage (still gets beaten up)
Hello and thanks for watching! For voice calls, all Android Smartphones and Apple iPhones use the same standardized Bluetooth HSP/HFP Protocol and the same standards mSBC Bluetooth Codec. Therefore, from a voice call quality perspective, there is no advantage of using Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen on an iPhone or Android Smartphone. Selecting a Phone from either Platform will yield the same result. Do you have any link to any publications or studies which shows Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen using any specific optimizations circumventing the standardized Bluetooth HSP/HFP Protocol and Bluetooth mSBC codec for voice calls, which would show a voice call quality advantage over the same Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen paired to an Android Smartphone? That would be very interesting if you can help share any link, and I will take that into consideration. But regardless, HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 still came out on Top but a significant margin over the Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen (and also the Sennheiser MTW4 and Technics AZ80)! Cheers!
It's a shame you can't test the Huawei with a Huawei device. I heard some samples of the mics when recording and it's amazingly impressive. Could u imagine where Huawei would be without the ban if they are still able to produce products like this
freebuds pro 3 Tips 1. To improve connectivity and sound, we recommend disabling Multipoint and removing all but one paired device before use. This may seem unrelated, but it also affects the sound. 2. We recommend using JVC EP-FX9 eartips. 3. global version has somewhat limited output compared to the Chinese version, so if you feel the sound is a bit disappointing, replacing the firmware is the solution as EQ cannot solve the problem.

Ps: For very small budgets, try testing the Earfun Air S / Air Pro 1 and the Qcy Ht05 Melobuds, they are really good in environmental phone calls. 🙏🏽

Same i agree with this comment 1000%. Freebuds pro 3 are stunning. I tried all MTW4 are garbage, airpods pro 2 just average at best. I think for now Prince/King/Emperor is H FBP3

For voice call quality, you are correct that the Sony WF-1000XM5 do not perform very well, which is surprising considering it's cheaper sibling the Sony LinkBuds S is well within the Top 5 for voice call quality. Regarding those other products, I have considered adding them, but I can tell from a pretty good comparison from Call One Inc that these will not perform as well as the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7sGIGuk1Ymc.html The only advantage they have over the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 is the inclusion of USB Bluetooth dongle for PC, for UC or MS Teams. I would still recommend the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 3 for voice call quality if you don't need a USB Bluetooth dongle for PC. If you absolutely must have a USB Bluetooth dongle for PC, then I would recommend Hybrid Worker Portability = Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex Loud Open Office = EPOS Impact 1061 ANC or Orosounde Tilde Pro (Over-the-Ear version for best ANC or On-the-Ear version for comfort) Cheers!
