In this video, Senri Kawaguchi performs “Flux Capacitor”, an original composition by her project, Triangle (with Philippe Saisse on keyboard and Armand Sabal-Lecco on bass). The track gets a funky, smooth and cool fusion treatment in typical effortless Senri style.

Her playing is so CLEAN! Even with her toms being so resonant, the clarity in her grooves and fills is exceptional. Every single note is perfectly articulated. She is bomb!

The girl can play a trap kit like I haven’t seen in a long time. I toured with one of the greatest drummers in our extended circle of musicians, at the time. She blows him out of the water. You can see it is pure joy for her to play, too. Great job girl!
