Well done fellas . knowledge, gold and entertainment perfect combination for a great day out and channel. Keep up the great work Ant and Glenn. Cheers 👍👍

We’re coming to the GT in November. Happy to make some pies and drop them off. And NO we do not have flamingoes in the front garden! A few more tips would be great. Can’t wait for the next show. Stay well🥰🤪🥂
Thanks for the shout out Glenn. Im a chick with a pick…. doing my bit for the environment cleaning up rubbish! Still no better place to be than in the bush scrubbing around. Love the jokes, reminds me of the blokes I worked with in ambulance, salt of the earth…. full of advice, bulllshit, humor and fearless protectiveness. You’re clearly a protector of so many things… history being one of them. Love you’re content!
Glad you heard it Susie!!! Happy to hear you enjoy detecting so much and that you enjoy our content. Appreciate your ongoing support :) good luck out there!! how is the 6000 going for you?

Awesome vid as usual boys and some nice little nuggies! I love learning something new about the old timers and what to look out for next time I'm having a swing :)
Its good to see you Glen and Anthony finding yellow , the granddaughter an myself sat here watching you guys , and all lola could say , pop are they talking about US then she laughed and said let's go see what we can see out walking about swinging and digging up things and using our pin pionters Cheers Guys

Great video again Lads, How good are Glenn\s Jokes they crack me up every time, awesome to see you both doing well in the forest better watch out for those Scorpion's and Snakes now that its warming up again.
Cheers Daniel! haha they are the best, love Glenn's jokes as well. Yeah we certainly will, coming into that season where we won't be moving as many rocks and just detecting. keep an eye out always!
Love watching your videos. Glenn you are always so knowledgeable and it is so interesting to hear about the old timers. Would love to catch up with you one day.
Another great video young fella and even younger fella. It’s great to hear so many ladies watch and enjoy your videos, I am afraid mine isn’t one of them, I used to show her some bits that I found extremely helpful but I could tell she was as interested as I am when she’s telling me about some book she has just read.
Cheers Neil!! We are rapt too so many ladies watch us. It's a shame to hear yours isn't one of them, maybe try and convince her one day haha. How is your Bluetti going??
My wife may not watch your videos, but I have watched a few with my four year old grandson and he asked is that what you do poppy it looks like fun. I have to admit it’s the most fun I’ve had with my pants on. The Bluetti is saving me some fuel money i mainly use it to charge my 4500 so I only have to run my generator for two hours every three days to charge my battery instead of two hours every day which is good because I go for ten day trips. I will be heading back out there on Friday for another marathon hunt only found two little ones last time. Looking forward to your next video 👍👍
Glenn has a lot of knowledge on the history of gold prospecting. No doubt the washed tailings is a great place to detect. Keep up the good work you guys I love your videos
haha! I had no idea about the flamingo either, in fact I'm kind of shocked that a good percentage of my suburb has flamingoes and/or pampas grass. Kind of disconcerting what may be going on!
Learning so much from you Glen, and Ant. Love your sense of humor. My best mate and I have just picked up our detectors and accessories and can't wait to get out and practice with the gear. We don't expect to find much but we sure will have fun trying. Keep those great videos coming guys.😎
Another good effort guys. Lots of yarns and tangents but you got there eventually. Watched this one while in Tokyo. Would like to see Glenn doing some relic hunting in the Imperial Palace Gardens.
Love this channel always looking forward to seeing what you 2 find out there in the awesome Goldfields of Victoria, cant get enough of Glenn's history talks about the rush days and how things were done
Ant was right the first time, my husband's family name. When they came over from England, half of them say Hay-worth and the ather half say How-worth and somesay har-worth. We are the second one, but love to hear my name eather way ❤. There is a place in England named Haworth, my son says all the time, I'm English, Irish, scotch, Spanish and Aboriginal, no wonder I am confused 😂😢😅😂❤. Just can you give a call out to my son because he puts the comments in for me, Colin Haworth. Great to jacky for giving you that. Good to see you got gold.
Big bottoms, blokes, swingers.....🙈🙈🙈 Careful what you wish for Glenn. 🤣🤣 I will be waiting for the 2024 Calender with pink flamingos, pineapples and Glenn in his long Johns. 🤣 Great day out boys! The last one was quite decent!
Another excellent video lads. Ant I thought you had it with that bit of pocket knife Bugger . The knowledge Glen has is amazing I Have learnt a lot . P.S. Ant i still have my 5000 to and use it and love it. 👍
In Tas the board in the tree to fell it was called a shoe .sometimes two shoes high and generally two bushmen worked together and one was left handed chopper and one right handed and when putting the front in the tree it was hit for hit one left one right and cross cut to fell the tree in the back still one left hand one right
Hi Glen and Ant, I might have finally worked out how to comment on your video. As always a great show and glen you are just what prospecting video's need to explain what happened in the old days interspersed with good old fashioned humour. Keep it up both of you even though it annoys the daylights out of my wife, she hates detector sounds.😂
Glad to hear you've figured out how to comment on our videos :) appreciate your support. haha yeah those non-detectorists don't love the sound as much as we do haha
Great show guys, nice finds. Glenn, gotta say I’m a little concerned with what you’ve been looking at on the internet! Not that there’s anything wrong with that!😂Come to mention it, dad, and grandma/grandpa had pampas bushes at their places! Who would of thought!
Thanks Heath!! hahaha i'm ALWAYS concerned about what Glenn is doing on the internet... haha well now you know why they had the pampas bushes ;) Cheers Heath and thanks for watching!!
Another great episode.. When we Got Married Tamara became Mrs Wright but soon progressed to Mrs ALWAYS Right ;) - or so it Seems most Days..... ;) Love you honey
Went camping and sight seeing in the Hunter Valley NSW and saw lots of old timers stacked walls and water races. Can you ask Glen how the Chinese would line these races so they wouldn't leak? These things go for miles and was just curious if he knew how they made them watertight. Thanks.
Because the Chinese have for centuries been controlling and diverting water to grow rice in difficult land areas such as hillside terraces ,they were experts at this kind of construction when they applied it to gold mining. If they were building a race around a hillside ,they would construct their stone work first similar to the support of an aqueduct then dig the trench placing the dirt gravel or clay from the race to the outside of the drain using the prepared stone work to maintain its shape and form The fact that the races themselves constantly held water was the secret to them remaining water proof as the damp earth compacted and expanded as it absorbed water . Any areas that were of doubtful strength were tamped down with a short wooden pole with a base about a circle with a four inch diameter. Because of the very slight fall of the races ( usually an inch every ten feet ) they were more like long dams rather than fast flowing drains ,so the pressure of the water was minimal. Glenn
@@blurtmenowyes sorry, I sent your comment to Glenn to reply to and I replied to a different comment but hit send on this to you. Sorry! But Glenn’s response is there for you 😁👍
Another cracking good video guys. You will have to let me know when your up for a rematch with the von steiger brothers. I havent been out for a couple of weeks, im getting the sweats and shakes.
Cheers Tom! hahaha we'll do! Definitely need to have a rematch. Oh i bet you are getting the sweats and shakes, time to get out detecting mate!! Good luck and hope to see ya soon :)
Entertaining video. All these womens names, you lads are getting too popular. Is syndication in the wind? A lady asked me if i could bring over my detector to find her $2500 ring she lost in her chook pen. I had a hell of a time explaining the effects of chicken wire and in the end i lent her my pinpointer so she vould crawl around in the chook poo. Good move or not?
