We use an external booster and speaker on the 5000 with the little 9 inch mono elite …deady combo ..one of my patches over here in WA ..I finally took some one with the 6000 and the 7000 ..only one piece was found with the 7000 ..and I put them straight on top of were we picked it all up .i found 3 ,…one tiny speci was 9 inches ..I’m not say the others would not of picked them up ..we all know you have to walk over it ..but I honestly thought the seasoned prospector would off cleaned up with the 6000 ..keep up the great work fellas ..I seen a few large nuggs been found recently your way

In the areas that we detect there seems to be a lot of variation in the ground noise with the Mono. So I fitted the DD on my second trip...gives a definite signal on the smallest gold possible and the extra size isn't a problem on the light weight detector. Apart from thick charcoal and some black soil every signal is a definite metal signal. Glenn Conroy

Another very enjoyable video lads, always happy when one pops up in my feed! Just getting into detecting, picked up my first little bit of gold with the Monster last weekend, was stoked! Can't wait to get out again and give it another nudge. Rather addictive, isn't it? Will have to have a poke around the Bendigo area one day soon...

My observation is that you need to be out on the gold every week or very regularly to find gold. You also need to be in areas where gold has been found. I love getting out but closest area for prospecting for me is at least hour and half traveling. Cheers mate
It's all about dedication. You can make your money back and some but lots of walking and digging. I bit the bullet and went a gpz7000 10-11k and the very first weekend I pulled 15k in gold. Keep in mind I already had years of detecting/prospecting experience.

Great to see you fellas out there finding some gold and having some fun , I haven’t been able to get out since my wife’s car accident in January , and some health issues my self. I have cameras pushed into every hole they could find in my body, but like me in the gold fields they found bugger all. Now I would like to get all their camera footage and make a RU-vid video, not sure what I would call it, tossing up between Crevicing and an old timers workings . Glad to see Glenn up and about after a jump start,I have to do that too my old Ute occasionally.
