Sensei Naka Tatsuya from @kuroobiworld visited Machida Karate Academy and learned the advanced Kumite Kata 4 from sensei Chinzo Machida! Sensei Yoshizo was together in this fantastic Karate Meeting!
Sensei Naka is an absolute treasure. Even with all of his experience, he is always willing to learn from others and challenge himself, It was great to see him working with Sensei Machida!
Naka produces many different videos, this is true and it is already something. But if instead of trying a workout he had tried to do some free combat he would have seen something much more radical: his karate can't really work against someone trained for MMA like Chinzo. If he then wanted to try Lyoto Machida things would be even MUCH worse for him...
@@shotokar4211 I would not necessarily agree with that. He would be able to hold His own. Even the dragon got submitted, but He used a lot of Shotokan techniques in a lot of His big wins!
The most beautiful thing is this video is to see how proud Yoshizo Sensei is to witness his son share his teachings with one of the greatest ambassador of shotokan in the World. Machida Sensei leaved Japan decades ago to contribute to karate and japan's evolution. Seeing his children having such a great recognition with karate must be really heart warming for him.
What a man, Naka Tatsuya. His zest for learning, his open mindedness to different martial art cultures, and his cheerful attitude combine into a superbly inspiring personality. And what a treat to meet the other members of the legendary Machida family.
I think its because its essentially shotokan. However you will notice that with his superman punch he needs more practice. Also his hooks and uppercut can use more shoulders. But yes, compared to most he did well. He will perfect it evrntually. Now he just has to experience full contact and continuous blows with grappling. Something that the Machidas are more versed at.
I'm more and more convinced that Machida Karate needs to be in every city across the United States. This is the most practical style of Karate I've ever seen. So simple to learn too. Practice, practice, practice, and it becomes ingrained in you. I did a lot of online training with this system and even though I now practice a different style (just simply for sparring if I'm honest) everything I learned from Machida is what I fall back on all the time. It works.
The clean movements of Father Machida is absolutely astonishing. From a dad's perspective into teaching karate to young, i can't stress how much I'm impressed into this skill level. Please keep up with this high level yet easy to understand karate-do so we can be inspired to promote the true meaning of each step. Love and rey from Spain.
Fantastic. Three giant warriors from the Shotokan tradition, showing the versatility of true karate! Sensei Naka is the perfect martial warrior. I have never seen someone so good being so humble and thirsty to learn always something new. Sensei Machida Sr., a long term hero, and his son & great champion Lyoto, what could I say? Touching moment! Thank you so much for that! Oss
Oh that was epic! Having Sensei Naka in your dojo is an amazing thing just by itself, seeing him again how natural he adapts to boxing, grappling, and anything else is just like taking a peek in the heaven through this little window bolt on to my PC!
I am a Shito-Ryu Shukokai man, but have always been such a huge admirer of Tatsuya Sensei. He is so humble and open to training and learning from many other styles. There are many great Karateka out there to admire and learn from but right now, he is right up there as one of the best. He is a gift to all serious Karateka and I would love to have the opportunity train under this man.
Naka, Sensei is a rarity. Most Instructors have egos a mile high. Yet, this high level Teacher is always so humble and always willing to learn. I’d love for him to teach a class at my dojo. It would be a grand experience.
I'm amazed by sensei Naka's ease to perform the drills. Most people, even experienced fighters would have struggled to do execute these technics correctly in just a 10 minutes practice like sensei did
Não se impressione com sensei Naka, HOJE NA ATUALIDADE ELE SEM DUVIDAS ALGUMA É O MELHOR KARATEKA SHOTOKAN DO MUNDO. ELE QUE É MUIITO HUMILDE, ERA PRA ELE ESTAR ENSINANDO O CHIZO MACHIDA, ATÉ POR QUE NAKA É MUIITOOO MAIS GRADUADO, E NAO TEM VARIAS LUTAS BOLADAS E MISTURADAS COMO O CHIZO MACHIDA. NAKA É UM GRÃO MESTRE SHOTOKAN . MAS SUA HUMILDADE E GENTILEZA O FAZ ABRIR A MENTE PARA ENTENDER O QUE ESTAO TENTANDO PASSAR PRA ELE. MAS NAKA É SHOTOKAN PURO RAIZ E NATURAL ANTIGO. PRA QUEM NÃO CONHECE , ELE É UM DOS JAPONESES KARATEKAS MAIS RESPEITADO DO MUNDO. OSS💀✊🔥
Naka sensei Meets Machida Karate!!! Respect +++ for both! This open-mind attitude invite me to make reconciliation with japanese karate! As soon as i found an occasion, i must absolut make a seminar with Naka sensei! Great!
Naka sensei's technique is so clean and crisp. So inspiring to watch these three Karate-ka exchange thoughts and train together in such a friendly manner.
Sensei Yoshizo Machida, if I'm not wrong is father of Lioto Machida, one of the great champion who bring Shotokan Karate ini MMA. Respect for Machida family & sensei Naka.. Oss
I have much admiration for all these men, true karate masters who take the art of shotokan forward. It was great to see Naka Tatsuya sensei try this out, his open mindedness and ability to adapt shows the wealth of his experience and talent. I hope we see more collabs like this.
Fiquei emocionado ao ver toda a energia que o papai tem, valorize e aproveite cada segundo com esse HOMEM incrível que é o seu pai. Naka Sensei omoshiroikata desu né, iro iro hontoni arigatou gozaimashita... 押忍 🥋🥋🥋
I'm from Greece and I'm great fan of Machida karate! I met sensei Naka with sensei Okuma in a karate 🥋 seminar at 2019 in Greece! I wish you the best, keep going and keep training!
Humility , learning attitude , hard training , practical techniques - true Budo Masters , showcasing the unique Machida style forged with powerful traditional Shotokan.. Respects, ossu - from India
Its been years since a new katas were created and now with this, sensei Naka and Senseis Machida...all I can think is that at last Karate is evolving to become more adecuate for todays figthing, congratulations..."PLEASE MAKE KARATE GREAT AGAIN!!"
Oss!
Sensei Chinzo, Naka Sensei, and Sensei Machida.....the humility and absolute amazing skill was so great to watch. What a blessing to be able to watch and learn from them. Thank you.
Nice! It was so fun to watch it! Naka Sensei is one of my favorite karate masters and Machida Family is the bridge between traditional karate and modern martial arts. Thank you so much for that combinations, I already put them in to my training routine! And if you combine them in one flowing motion, you later should apply a bunkai for this kata as well ) I mean, this is how all katas appeared in this world! Ossu!
What a lovely video! I have always admired you Sensei, your brother Lyoto and your father. I also admire Naka Sensei and love his ideas about karate. It is nice to see you all sharing.
Wow.... Naka sensei. A master with a white belt mentality in learning new things. Thank you Machida karate for sharing this lovely video. I have been learning karate dor 4 years, learning BJJ for 5 years. And I have a dream that one day I can join your training for coach programme and bring Machida karate to Indonesia. Oss!
Excellent coaching by Machida Sensei and brilliant 'learn & adapt' by Naka Sensei. Both really are top of their respective games. For me though, the real treasure is yet to come when Naka Sensei starts incorporating the principles into his own karate. I for one, am keen to see what he comes up with.
The fun Naka sensei obviously had while getting into the flow of it is just contagious! :D I just had to laugh when he totally got into the zone and he displayed the joy of a little boy :D I totally felt that. I would have acted exactly the same!
Shotokan Karate is My favorit....🥋 Lyoto Machida is probably the first person from the Shotokan school to win the UFC, we as Karateka who are shotokan are very proud of him, hopefully there will be UFC champions from the Shotokan karate stream like Lyoto Machida, Sensei Naka you are also great 😊
Its so inspirational to see our idol Karateka adapting to every style. This tells that we must keep our mindset like liquid. Style or organization doesn't matter. Knowledge is every where in every style so we must adopt that... Great message.
