Steve Williams of Acme Cub Training performs a pull test on a Sensenich 82" Ground Adjustable Propeller for the O-360 180 Horsepower aircraft engine on an Experimental Four Place Cub. A pull test determines the effectiveness of the propeller and can increase thrust, which has an effect on speed and climbing abilities of an aircraft. The 4-Place Cub was built by Kirk Ellis, and the airframe was produced by Airframes Alaska. This was an unpaid test strictly for the knowledge and curiosity of Steve Williams. Williams and his team at Acme Cub Training recently built the 2021 Alaska Airmen Association Raffle Cub and are considered very knowledgeable about the Piper Super Cub and off-airport, backcountry flying.
