In this video, we will see the definition of terms such as Sensor, Transducer, and Actuator which are often used in mechatronics. The term sensor and transducer are used interchangeably when talking about the measurement system. However, a small difference exists between them. See this video, until the end and understand the difference between these two terms

Sensor output always electrical, but transducer output can be anything

Yes, transducer at input side will provide electrical output (which may or may not be available in suitable form for controllers to process), while transducer at output side will provide other forms of outputs such as motion. On the contrary, the output of sensor will be electrical signal which is suitable for controllers to work on and doesn't require any special signal conditioning circuits such as amplifiers or bridge networks.
