actually sentinel is not a prime he just took the title of it. when optimus offered the matrix of leadership which only a prime can use it. he denied it cuz he knows it will rust or dust as he is not worthy and was never a prime and he was only a so call prime in the bayverse.
I found it stupid how he was like 100 feet tall, was casually teleporting and using telekinesis, yet randomly shrunk when fighting Optimus and resorted to his useless spear instead of his insane abilities. It’s a common writing error in the Bayverse: make an extremely powerful villain, then have them die off at the end for whatever bullshit reason. At least TF1 and TF5 made sense, the others were ass pulls.
It took twelve primes just to knock out the fallen, they weren’t even strong enough to kill him. In his full power the only being who could kill him is Unicron.
Bayverse continuity only had 6 other primes, which is still a ridiculous feat. Fallen in his prime could take on Quintessa, Galvatron, Lockdown and his army, and Optimus all at once.

Its make sense bc in real fight megatronus prime/the fallen can teleport And even optimus need power of jet fire to catch up the fallen and when optimus finally catch the fallen he kill the fallen really fast bc if not the fallen can teleport again Jet fire alternative mode is ( BlackBird/SR 71 with the speed 3 mach ) thats why optimus can catch the fallen really fast
It's interesting that Megatron sided with deception army, fallen, a prime, decepticon army of AI Technology, quintessa against Optimus but still managed to loose.
Fun fact: on the voyager class revenge of the fallen the fallen figure, Hasbro put maxed has maxed out stats all across the board for the fallen, meaning he had infinite strength, infinite fire blast, 10 skill, 10 intelligence, 10 speed infinite endurance 10 rank and 10 courage, so yeah I can see how the fallen would win with absolutely no difficulty here
The fallen doesnt even need to have his full potential. In the movie's idw comics the fallen at his prime slaughtered all of the primes, leaving one left but he also shortly died after the battle. the other 12 could have hypotheticaly been setinel level. They managed to seal him away but not kill him. In the movies its an entirely different story, it took 6 primes to decently damage him and its safe to say that the ohter primes were also the same tier as sentinel, or maybe even be stronger then sentinel. also w edit
Optimus was actually implied capable of defeating the fallen (At Full Power without jetifres parts) so since sentinel was as strong or stronger than Optimus he should win
