What are you talking about ofcourse there was CGI, though they implemented lots of real sparks, explosions, and effects to make it top notch! Amazing for its time

Weak for risking his life for an insect. Not for his physical strength. Megatron knows better than any other transformer, that his only equal is Optimus Prime.
Because he's holding back during a god damn War and he's supposed to be a Prime, and he literally dies as Megatron says it, it was the truth, that's why it hurt Optimus so much, and why he decided to no more be weak.
Like others have mention + I'd say the main reason he said that when he did also was because he literally was in the middle of a battle and stopped to call out to Sam. His caution for a human in the middle of their battle is why he was weak to Megatron because his compasion for a human left him open to attack.
First fight 10/10 I love how Optimus breaks Megatron's leg And second fight 10/10 Again cripples Megatron and completely dunks on The Fallen third fight 10/10 love the transforming while on the move and I love how Optimus just casually says pull over
Some people miss the point of 'Give me your face' or lump it in with criticisms of the film and Optimus coming off more like a sadistic psychopath than a wise leader and a very powerful fighter. Then again, the film fails to mention it itself: the Fallen's visage is what the Decepticon logo is based on. His face is literally the face of the war Optimus has fought for millions of years, seen the death of his planet over, lost who knows how many friends and allies to, and is now threatening to destroy the world that (for the most part) let him and his people stay for a new home. It's not Optimus being a lunatic. It's him literally exorcising a demon. Though it probably would have worked better if the second and third films were swapped with a few tweaks being made due to it.
Thats a nice way of putting it honestly, and either way Optimus is still like Righteous and Patriotic but it doesnt mean he has to be soft. He's like captain america but an alien robot lol
Feel like Ppl seem to forget he still in a war and a war isn’t going to make you soft especially if you have to fight someone you called your brother once

I have always continuously missed Michael Bay’s Transformers! 😢😢😢 When I first saw this epic battle scene at the cinemas therefore I can easily tell that Optimus Prime is going to loose the fight due to multiple Decepticons! My brother and myself felt sad to see Optimus getting killed by Megatron like that. 😢😢😢
I remember unlike the first movie, the 2nd one was panned by critics but did make a ton of money. As an 80s kid who grew up with OG transformers I came to these movies looking to see epic Transformers fights, that's all. I wasn't looking for subplots and award winning acting. Nothing better for me than seeing Optimus Prime kicking ass.
"not to call you a coward master, but sometimes cowards do survive" is both weirdly wholesome and smart, star scream was always a coward but at least he mastered the arts of being a coward and doing so made a pretty good second in command.
What's crazy is I think Optimus was pissed at the Decepticons in the first clip. He was insulting Megatron and the Decepticons while laying the beat down, which he usually doesn't.

Gotta love how the deception commander, first lieutenant, and Blackout gang up on Optimus and he STILL beats the piss out of them before dropping his guard.
It’s Grindor, not blackout. Blackout died in the first, this one apparently is more battle focused and cocky if I remember correctly compared to Blackout who is smarter with tactics
i always found it funny how megatron calls optimus weak when he back stabs him even though optimus was pummeling him so bad megatron had to call in two more just to have a 50/50 shot at winning
picks him up, followed by a scene of him getting into optimus's truck form, then gets into bumblebee, then is seen driving away with bee, AND THEN somehow gets thrown out of optimus when megatron attacks.
The way Optimus just “Weak! Puny! Waste of metal!” Insults just “junkyard crap” 😂 dude is fighting while delivering the highest level of sass insults because hurting them physically just isn’t enough 😂 I love it
Prime was LIFTING between 1 and 2. Bro improved his fighting game by at least 3x. In the first movie bro was just getting his ass kicked by megatron, and now he's in a 1v3 that includes megatron and only lost cause he had to protect sam.
I love how megaton says “you’re so weak” as he stabs Optimus to death after he just went ham like 1v5 and clapped 3/5 of them permanently and beat megaton 1v2 and the second saved megatons life
I can see why fallen wanted opmtis dead tho!. And took three desperations to take him down of course with his back was turned!. I love how ruthless prime made short work of the fallen mire 2 mins.😊
I think it’s just debris SFX since he’s falling through the roof, I don’t hear anything that screams JP3 spinosaurus haha, and I’ve seen the movie several times
I thought this was gonna be some kind of retrospective video about how Micheal bay tainted transformers and how this prime isn’t prime, but no. What we got was a upgraded visually enhanced version of one of the most badass moments in cinematic history
In one Transformers Gen 1 comic episode, Shockwave takes an oil rig from G.B. Blackrock and obliterates Megatron. That would be nice to see on the big screen one day.
It still amazes me how if it wasn’t for the fact that Optimus had to worry about Sam that he would’ve most likely won that fight. He was beating their ass fr.
Honestly the only reason Prime lost in the forest 1v3 was because he was distracted and looking for Sam when Megatron came in and did a cheap shot on him. Had Prime been focused he would have stalled enough to have Bee and Ironhide help him as well. The best transformers fights are the ones where it's bots going against each other with their fists like they did in the TV shows and in TF Prime.

If you notice right @ 6:15, Optimus was about to stab Megatron in the back, but Megatron turned around just in enough time so Optimus cut his arm off instead

Megatron almost defeated optimus during transformers 1 but during the rest of the transformers movie it seems like optimus is far more stronger then megatron
My main gripe us whyyyy was there only ONE autobot with Prime. Imagine if Ironhide and Sideswipe was there...that first fight wouldve been soooo much cooler than it already is....truly what couldve been
@@abdullahbukhari1469 not the point my guy, not talking about in universe decisions made by the cbaracters, im talking about the decisions made by Bay and the studio. There are 11 autobots in total, and they chose to showcase 1 extra as back up. They had 9 others to play with bro, just imagine if they thought of putting 2 or 3 more bots there to fight Scream, Megs and Grindor at that abondoned building before the grand forest battle. Pure awesome
