I had a super short day at work today and was able to make it down to Humboldt for their 12 o'clock test. I was going to nab the leaning one at the airport, but Tristan K said it hasn't worked in awhile, and photos taken before and after the test confirmed it did not go off. I ended up settling on this one since I noticed the Jewel trailer behind it (where I used to work back in Wood Dale), and thought that would be interesting in the video.
Surprisingly this one sounded really good despite an older video showing it sounding terrible, so they must have either fixed it, or just by chance it decided to work.
Sirens in Humboldt County are tested every Saturday at noon.
