Hey, y'all! THANK YOU for watching! What kinds of keywords are you going after in your SEO?? What were some tips you grabbed from today's video? Comment below! 👇
@@jennaquentin3881 Yes, Jenna! So good. You've got to know that you're saying the things people are searching for-so mixing industry-standard terms and the usual conversational descriptions is SMART, sistah!
I am learning so much about copywriting from you! I really appreciate all of your hard work. It's a rainy Sunday and I'm binge-watching Ashlyn videos today!
For sure-I was in college in 2006ish, and how I learned journalism/marketing is VASTLY different than what I do now. Principles the same, tactics are 180 different, ha.
Holy cow! I'm coming back to watch this a second and a third time. I've been working on my SEO knowledge base and implementing it on both of my websites, but the information about making sure our pages also have good SEO keywords used well? Golden! Thank you!
Heather, I'm over the moon-I'm telling you, I feel like I was in marketing land for a long time before I finally got some answers about optimizing pages away from my blog, so I'm glad you found this helpful!!
Ashlyn, congrats on yet another video that leaves me scratching my head wondering how we got so lucky - I can't believe you give all this genius away for FREE. This is next level stuff. Thank you SO much! Count me in as another vote for a keywords research vid! xo
Loved the video--SO helpful! I will be rewatching this often. After doing some research I noticed a lot of the people in my industry have top keywords that include their name. How does keyword planning work when a lot of time it is artist name recognition?
Elayna! :) So, my best understanding is that anyone who ranks for their name has built a massive following and has YEARS of content to back it up... does that make sense?? xx.
Thank you SO MUCH! This was extremely helpful. I really did appreciate the book analogies. None of the main keywords (H1, alt text, etc) were new to me, but you helped explain them in a way that created more meaning, and will make them more memorable.
Hey Emily! You have no idea how much this means to me! I am SO glad you found this helpful. It is always my goal that whatever I teach my readers/watchers/listeners can APPLY it in their business and see that it moves the needle! Thank you so much for watching! xx. Ash
LOVE love LOVED this video Ashlyn! Thank you for delivering your signature "paint by numbers" approach to SEO. I feel so much more confident (and less intimidated) when it comes to integrating SEO within user friendly website copy. Top tip that made me pause and write down with le pen so I don't forget: mention your keyphrase only once in each type of header (H1, H2 etc). xxoo
YES, Lauren! Such a good takeaway, and one that I'm glad resonated with you. It can be so tempting to go overboard with SEO. I'm so glad you're feeling more confident in your writing! Be sure to show me what you come up with! xx.Ash
hey!👋🏻 I saw your comment on Sunny Lenarduzzis video and decided to pop by and check your channel out! Great content! Keep it up! It inspires me to see others crushing it!❤️
Thanks so much-I really appreciate the encouragement. I agree, it's always inspiring to see other people really getting after it and doing well. Thanks for the kind words. xx.
This couldn't have come at a more perfect time as today I had to take a "mental day" away from my website because I was staring at it for us way too long. Thanks so much for this!!
YES, KENDRA! You know I believe in that rest, not hustle life. You gotta know when it's time to step away, and I'm glad you did! Can't wait to chat soon-we can discuss this in-depth! xx. Ash
How do you manage to sound so upbeat and hyped without sounding annoying? If i spoke with half that vigor and speed someone would punch me :)) Great content, subscribed.
Fantastic video. Thank you so much. One question though please. You mentioned the Title Tag should be unique for very web page on your website, but when talking about the Title Tag formula of Primary Keyword + Secondary Keyword + | + Brand Name, you also said we should include this in the Title Tag for every web page on your website, which would make them all the same, not unique. Do you mind clarifying please? Thank you again. Love your work!
Thank you, Andrew! So, the primary + secondary keyword combo will likely (at least in my opinion) be different for each page of the website. The brand name will stay the same, but the primary/secondary keywords will change. Let me know if that helps! :) -Ash
Ashlyn Writes all of your content is awesome! I am not earning money at this point in life (I am disabled and have yet to resolve my unique needs), but I do believe I will make my way in time. If I get to a place where I am both in need of your services and able to afford to work with you, I will love to pursue that!! My point is simply that you are so awesome. You give out soooo much free content, which, for persons in circumstances such as mine, can mean all the difference in our success! Thank you for generously sharing your expertise. You are one of few business-guide persons who really helps me feel like I can handle learning and putting together everything needed to build my dreams.
Hey Ashlyn, this is so so helpful. I think i'm gonna need to watch it many times to understand this better. Thank you for this! ❤ I usually have trouble with keywords. I'm still trying to figure that out.
I'm so glad you found it helpful, Nikita! If there's anything I could've explained better so you didn't have to watch it on repeat like an old episode of Friends, you let me know. Make sure when you're pulling together your keywords, you use a mix of what people say and the proper terminology. You don't want to have too much of one and not enough of the other!
