Several decades ago, a famous Japanese writer visited and traveled through Jeju Island. Upon returning home to Japan, he remarked, "It's as if I went to the place where I used to live my 'previous life (前生)' before I was born, and now I have returned to my present life." 수십년 전, 한 유명한 일본 작가가 제주도 여행을 하고 일본에 돌아와서 말했습니다. “나는 내가 전생에 살던 곳에 갔다가 현생에 살고 있는 일본에 돌아와 있는 것 같다.”

Thanks Patrick, great job- you choose useful and interesting places and you give just enough info to keep it interesting- VERY VERY informative and interesting! - I have to smile though- you r favourite adjective is definitely "cute"- In the English speaking parts of South Africa (where I'm from) we use "quaint" in much the same way- never knew quite how to explain it to non- native speakers- this must come up a lot with "cute" for you! Anyhoo- thanks for your great videos- Keep at it!

Thank you so much! During my first year and still now in my second year of vlogging I catch myself saying some of the same random words lol. I think it comes out as I continue to try and be as comfortable as I can in front of the camera. Thank you again for the kind comment! There's A LOT more coming! ^^

Thank you so much for your brilliant videos. I'll be in Jejudo this Spring for a visit and your videos are fantastic because they show what the two large cities look like. There are so many videos that show haenyeo and waterfalls etc but few that show Jeju-si and Seogwipo. Thanks!

Grand Josun Jeju, which opened last month in Seogwipo. 2 way mirrors in their sauna were visible to hotel guests in hallway. Naked sauna users were visible to all, including bathrooms and showers.

Good stuff. I really dig Seogwipo too. Did you have Modakchigi (모닥치기) at the market?

Hi Patrick, You are so lucky to be living in Korea! Would you be able to recommend a hotel to stay in Seogwipo?

hey Patrick, I'm going to travel to Jeju in September, and I find your videos really helpful especially since I can not speak any Korean lol What do you think is the best area to stay? I'm not sure about that :D And have you any experience with renting a bike in Jeju? I think it would be fun to cycle around some places. Thank you so much greets from Germany
@PatMaxAdventures

That's great! I think it depends on how long you will be on Jeju. I would suggest staying a couple of days in Jeju City and then a couple of days in Seogwipo city. These are both very central places on the island and will make it easier to see more places than if you were just staying in one of these places. I have always wanted to ride a bike around the island, but sadly never got around to doing it. I have had some friends do it and they loved it! It takes about 3 days to ride around the whole island. You can camp and stay at guest houses along the way.

Ah, I've been to that "penis" rock. Lol. Walked the trail and ended up somewhere else 5 hours later (no markers). That cove looks like a nice place to hang out.

Cool. Yeah it's a nice places to hang out. There is a fun waterhole down below where you can jump off the rocks and swim in the ocean there. You'll see it soon in a new video! ^^

Are there a lot of young people there? Your video doesn't show many, only older peoples.
@PatMaxAdventures

Yes there are. It was the middle of Sunday, so a lot of them were out of doing doing things. Also it was very hot so many people were inside.
