Hi guys! Welcome to the third installment of my Seoul travel VLOGs. 😊 In this video we explore cafes in Ikseon dong, walk through Bukchon Hanok and Samcheongdong then check out Changdeokgung Palace.
📍Mil Toast House
Our first stop for the day was Mil Toast House. It was arguably the most popular cafe we visited. It opens at 8:00 so we made sure to get there at least 30 minutes beforehand. It's popular for its steamed bread so that's exactly what we ordered. Overall it's worth the hype if you go once since the lines can get pretty intense over the weekend.
📍Cafe Highwaist
Next for Cafe Highwaist, it was barely a 1 minute walk from Mil Toast House but it had a lot of similar pastries and baked goods as its sister cafe, Cafe Layered.
📍Bukchon Hanok Village
For Bukchon Hanok Village, we wanted to take photos that showed off the traditional Korean houses that people still live in and it was a short walk from Ikseongdong.
📍Green Mile Coffee Bukchon
To kill time and get a better view of the Bukchon Hanok Rooftops we got some drinks at Green Mile and spent an hour or so on the highest floor to admire the surrounding view of traditional houses.
📍Changedeokgung Secret Garden Tour

For the secret garden tour we had to book it in advance and it was well worth it. Since we booked our tour to start later in the afternoon, we didn't have enough time to explore the garden with the guide and opted to just take pictures instead 😅 It cost 5000 won to enter the palace grounds and an extra 3000 won to join the tour.
📍The Mask Shop
We still had a bit of free time so we walked around Dongdaemun once again and checked out the Mask Shop. Its a bit cheaper than Olive Young but it doesnt carry as many products. Still, if youre looking for sheet masks, this is the place to shop at.
📍BHC Chicken
For our final dinner in Seoul we met up with an ex-officmate of mine at BHC Chicken. It was one of the best fried chicken meals I've had in a long time and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Korean fried chicken franchise. 🥰 Try the cheese balls too~
