hi heidi! missed the chatty vlogs :D would also love to get recos of your fave japanese ytbers or any japanese content you enjoy consuming as im also learning the language. hope you have/had a great week <3
Wow congratulations on getting into the London marathon!! I run it (and walked) in 86 and 88. If you need a free tour guide for a day and make you tired going everywhere then I'd love to help!! 👍🏻
@@heidisarol Give it a few days after landing before you run for sure and the day after you should try and walk a bit as your muscles will be tight! I only run 2/3of it first time and finished in about 5 hrs. I never trained further than 15 miles, too lazy!!
How about a running event? I've been watching your vlogs since 2021~ back in the Philippines and now I am heeeere! Looking forward to meeting you, Heidi-san. By the way, may I ask what running shoes are you using?
Sounds fun. I might have to look into permits if therye necessary in Manila to host 😌 Omg! Where in Japan did you end up moving to? I rotate between Gel Kayano 30s, Magic Speed 3s and Novablast 4s :)
Hi everyone~ I'm thiiiinking about finally hosting a meet up later in the year but I would want to know what kind of event you would be interested in going to. Any suggestions? 😊
Ohh i like your vlog and your travel itinerary. A good combo of touristy activities and chill travel. Perfect timing cause we are going to bkk by end of month
Hi studying in Japan as well. Though I am doing my PhD. If you will be living in countryside like me it’s actually sometimes cheaper than living in Manila. I just spend 30-35k Php a month this already including food, transpo, dorm and utilities.
Thanks so much for sharing! I agree, living in the countryside is often cheaper although depending on where it is I hear local transportation can be a bit limited :)
@@heidisarol yeah the transpo here is inconvenient since bus comes like once an hour only. The dorm is bit far away from my Uni as well so walking is not doable.
Do these kissatens usually have English menus by any chance? What's the experience like for non-Japanese speakers? Would love to visit a few on my next visit to Japan.
Hi! Generally, expect most kissaten menus to have little to no English. As a non-native I think it's a fun experience since these kissaten are normally more local and traditional than the usual cafe. If you plan on checking any of them out, I suggest the one in Satella in Shibuya 🥰
Hiii! I just re-discovered your channel. I used to watch you when you were doing thrift hauls!! I’m currently planning my trip to Hanoi w/ my lola so this video is very helpful ❤
Thank you so mhch! I use an oil based cleanser (I switch it up from time to time :)) then I use Hato Mugi as my toner. Depending on the day I also use reedleshot before using the toner 😌💗
omg ms heidi, you look great in the red top you wore at the start of the video! as much as i like red, i dont think it’s working out for me 😂 have you tried color analysis? hoping to try it someday. happy weekend 🎉
Tysm! I bought it in Mango at Podium when I visited Manila :) I have but only the tiktok filter lol. Getting it done in Tokyo is quite expensive so 😅 Happy weekend to you too! Got any plans?
@@heidisarol lol yes, color analysis can be pricey! tiktok is the way to go haha. i’m going swimming as my weekend workout of choice 😌 looking forward to seeing what you’re up to in your upcoming vlogs 🩷
Yeah it was weird it was like I was burdening them by eating there. I checked their google reviews and other diners have said the same. How have you been? 🥰
@@heidisarol here so so. I plan to enrol in Japanese classes again but online. I got discouraged in my last class bec I couldn’t answer most of the time. There were terms that were either unfamiliar or I have forgotten. I took a break.
@@mvccarlos love that! I hope you find a good online school too :) Once you practice again I'm sure it'll all come back. Have you been watching or listening to any Japanese dramas/artists?
