I love to see deserving elders respected! Nothing close to that happening to any appreciable degree here in my benighted circles over a lifetime. I so regret I threw off popular and cultural contempt for elders so tardily and began sincerely to revere my elders. What living treasures of godly wisdom they are!

Over there in that meeting, the rebbe said about the the friediker rebbe. that he is "shlita" in other words the rebbe mhm quoted the friediker rebb as in shlita

goPistons06 he did you can go on website called chabad.fm and see there's a booklet of stories that pepole saw the rebbe

goPistons06 The Rebbe had to take care of the Jews and his chassidim (followers) in America... The Rebbe is busy 24/7, he doesn't have time for mere "holidays"! The Rebbe also has many emissaries in Israel so he didn't really need to go and visit. I'm sure there are many other reasons too.

goPistons06 Also the Rebbe said he will meet him in Israel with the coming of Moshiach, not to just come visit him for no reason...
