Would you ever consider listing some of the clothes you're wearing in the "more" section. I know this channel is devoted to derm issues but you have the most stylish and hip tops and I'd love to know what brand, etc. Thanks!
I just found your channel today. 2 hours on to various videos. ALready washed all my make up brushes, my glass, changed pillow case aaaand order some small face towels 😂😂thanks for all the information shared
SKII is so much cheaper in Japan compared to Sephora that you can literally save the cost of the plane ticket 😂 also note that you can get it in the airport if you have a layover through Tokyo (Narita)
l love her because she presents her content without anything fancy(looking perfect, the environment she is in, her lisp, the sound when she slaps her table, when she drops something and picks it up, she is not embarrassed to flare her nose..everything is na-tu-ral)..very realistic and very informative as always and she is candid with her reviews. How can you not love her? How? 🤩😘💜
This is such a weird comment because you’re nitpicking things that are super normal and making them sound like flaws. They’re not, they’re NORMAL so stop pointing it out. It’s like when a chubbier person posts a pic of themselves and ppl call them brave. Uh they’re just existing, it’s not a stance to just exist
I just want to say thank you for your work and videos, I have rosacea and acne, I’ve seen so many videos and most were misleading. You by far are my only and favorite skin care specialist channel that I enjoy watching. The community appreciates your hard work and research.
I love that you like Kate Somerville products! I use her goat milk cleanser and moisturizer most days and her Eradikate cleanser when I'm having breakouts or to keep them at bay. But she also has a sulfur-based spot treatment that I love for active pimples and cystic acne like I tend to get. I usually leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning but occasionally I'll use it during the day since my skin is light enough that it almost blends in if I put it on thinly enough.
Hi Dr. Idriss! Could you make a video about first-aid skin care/wound care? In light of current events, people might turn to RU-vid when it's impossible to get to a healthcare provider. How do you take care of a wound, cut, injured skin barrier? How do you prevent infection of a wound?
You are a delight! just enough science, that I can actually understand, plus realistic about price and real life❤ From one mother to another THANK YOU!
I just discovered you and I basically bought everything for your body and other brands you recommended lol I wish your brand was in Canada cause you would take my pay check every other month ❤
Thanks for the heads up about Nutrafol Vegan! I am not a vegan, but after taking Nutrafol for a good while, I was really wondering about all that biotin. Some say it causes breakouts, too.
I’ve been using the Peter Thomas Roth Retinol serum for years and its a great price point! Also a great alternative for a Peel pad is the M-61 Powerglow Peel- it’s exclusive to Blue Mercury and its a 7% peel and a box with 30 pads it’s $68! It’s a 1 min mini facial and you’ll wake up with the smoothest, brightest skin in the morning!
I would love a Canadian skincare video. I have yet to try any (that I know of, at least) Also, a guide/recommendation on the holiday sales going on at Stylevana and The Dermstore.
I am glad that you said to not fear fragrance unless you are allergic to it! I like fragrance but only two of my skin care products have fragrance probably since so many people needlessly fear fragrance.
You have helped me look at my skin in a whole new way. As an actual living organ and not as an accessory. Would you be able to do a deep dive into hormonal acne? I had to come off my birth control last year when I turned 30 and it's been a nightmare ever since. My derm told me soap and water and I'd be fine. Hasn't been working out too well. Have an awesome day, and thanks again!❤
I was skeptical at first on Pillow Talk products. At first, I was a smidge sensitive to them. I love, love, love them 2 months later. My skin is actually damn near flawless. Thanks for the great products:)
Could you possibly do a video on products for teens to get them into a skincare care routine. I know sunscreen is most important for this age, but my daughter tends to want the "cool" brands. Thank you!
Thank you so much, Dr Idriss, for this video! It is very helpful. ❤ I would love it if you would make a video about the breakouts that men get from shaving, so we can help the guys in our lives. Thank you!
I LOVE your videos. Definetely consider your saying about products before buying them. I think you mentioned preparing a video on sunscreen. I’d love your ratings according to shine/matte finish, stickiness, texture and evaluating them in all those categories. Already looking foward seeing your next video.
I'd love a review on Black owned brands at Sephora Skincare (TOPICALS, EADEM etc alot of clients in Brooklyn NY come in specifically for black owned products but no one online seems to be reviewing any
I love your content. It really does make sense of skincare. I would regularly use wrong skincare and have such redness breakouts and stinging eyes. I love how passionate you are about skincare and funny❤
I came back here to say thank you for recommending the SK II! I know it’s hard to recommend such expensive products, but I bit the bullet and bought the smallest one to try and it has made such a difference in my skin. I know everyone’s skin is different, but for me, I feel like this does what I hoped HA would do but didn’t. I can afford some expensive skin care, but don’t wanna waste money if it doesn’t do anything. This is worth buying for me.
I feel the same way about SKII. I wanted to hate it, even after watching your video, but I tried it and it’s amazing. If you splurge on the large bottle with the pump, it will last approximately 10 months if you use 2 pumps/1 day - morning and evening.
THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!! I wanted to try new products but wasn’t sure what!!! Now I can start shopping the Sephora sale confidently all thanks to YOUUUU!!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! ❤❤❤❤ I love Paula's choice BHA 2%liquid exfoliant. Results were practically overnight for me and my daughter. She has always been self conscious of the tiny pores on her nose and cheeks. She thought they were black heads for so long until I told her they were sebaceous filaments. Once I explained to her what you had said in one of your videos that I watched. I said, Hey, I have the salicylic drops, you should try it tonight. That exfoilant worked over night! She is a beautiful young woman, a natural beauty with no make up on, But those pores on her nose made her feel otherwise. Well, they next morning she was shocked to see all the sebaceous filaments and enlarged pores gone! 😁 Confidence definitely boosted.
Omg! You answered my silent prayers 😆 I was looking at the Sephora site hoping you had a video about what would be worth getting during the sale! Thank you!! ❤ I am thinking of getting the Kate Somerville sulphur cleanser for my stubborn sebaceous filaments as per your most recent short. Would I keep the cleanser on my nose for a few minutes?
Dr. Shereene, I love watching your videos. They provide a lot of skincare information that has saved me a lot of time and money. I have a question about amino acids. Are they useful for reducing fine lines and providing hydration to the skin? I am currently considering trying The Ordinary Amino Acid + B5 Serum, and I would like to know if it is worth trying.
I have very sensitive facial and redness/rosacea. I've tried Dr. Jart's products but I am not really a big fan. I tried the Paula's choice Boost- it burned my skin. I do however like Paula's Choice Exfoliate which I use in the evening. I do like some of Dermalogica products such as the daily microfoliant and the super rich repair- but they tend to be pretty pricey. But, no matter what the redness never clears. Thanks for the vlogs as they are always very informative.
Have you tried azelaic acid? It helps my redness more than anything else I have tried. The naturium azelaic acid emulsion is the nicest one I have tried that smells least terrible. I also really love Cosrx snail 96. It has a few forms of hylauronic acid in it too which my skin has been loving. If I find myself with a fragile skin barrier, which happens occasionally as I increase strength of retinoid, it feels like kindness on my skin. I also have been loving that wild pink barrier repair serum from The Ordinary. If I forget to use it my skin is more irritated the next day
I always look forward every Saturday morning to watch your video’s. Thank you Doc. Shereene my face looks good. I appreciate you for educating us!💖💕💜 4:26 4:30
There is lots of products mentioned supporting Israel, among them are DrJart, shisheido, kiehls, Origins, paula choice (under uniliver surprisingly) Others include LaRocheyPosey, CeraVe, Loreal, estee lauder and lots more to mention.
For what it's worth you can *always* find REN products at fractions of the price on ebay. And I don't mean at prices that are 20% off, more like 20-30% of the original sale price. Maybe people get gifted them a lot and I do know they are in a lot of beauty advent calendars that folk sell on as individual items. I don't think I have ever paid full price for a REN product as much as I love REN. Love your videos, Shereene!
@@shereeneidriss it was so thorough I loved it!! Could you maybe do one on some of the tools and supplements out there (led hair helmet or led hair comb wand, micro needle stamping and nutrafol vs viviscal (I noticed you recommend nutrfol in this video!)
Dr. Idriss, can you please create one of these videos for everything top of the head (hair) to toe (feet) products that scented free? And please do not leave out the “mid” area 😉☺️😊🙏🏼🙏🏼? Thank you!!
I’d love for you to try Hero Cosmetic’s cleansing clay mask to compare to Kate Somervilles sulfur cleanser, It has sulfur and turns into a wash when you rinse it off! it’s also only $20
I love your videos! I haven’t found any good video about malar bags (festoons) especially in women before 40. Could you please share your thoughts/ products/ procedures for that? I see that this problem is starting on my face and I would like to prevent it from deteriorating 😊 thank you!
Perfect timing-I was just about to switch over to winter skin care and I have nothing (!) right now. I love your videos; I learn a lot, and I also trust your recommendations. Thank you! 🦋
Dr. Idriss, I’ve been watching so many videos these last weeks that I dreamed of you last night. That was weird. You were taking care of my skin but I said from the beginning that I didn’t want to get filmed for your youtube channel. You said «Uh… » and you kept taking care of my skin. But I was looking all around me and there were small cameras everywhere, in every corner of the room. 😂😂😂
Can you please review the Vichy Neovadiol line? Or recommend products or a routine to maintain firmness or prevent laxity? (Bonus if it's great for rosacea, too! Ha.) Thank you! Love how you organize your content by skin issue.
Hi Dr. Shereene Idriss! Can you make a video that explains Bakuchiol - and how it is/or isn’t beneficial for the skin, in place of retinol? THANK YOU!!!
I have melasma and just recently ended my 3 month use of HQ. I’m interested in the Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid product. Im a tiny bit worried of rebound hyperpigmentation after using the Hydroquinone.
Could you do an intimate on squalane? Love your videos!!! Just discovered you last week but have been watching all your old videos and already ordered your Major Fade trio!!!
Dear Shereene, need some help for skincare on a winter vacation/ skiing holiday: would you take off your skiing/slope makeup in the shower after skiing and put on new sunscreen + fresh makeup when leaving the door for apres-ski time? A skiing day is divided into two diffrent situations in my opinion: the cold sunny time on the slopes and then the afternoon with some daylight and no need for waterproof products. What´s your suggestion to a good protection for your skin on a skiing holiday?
The Kate Somerville EradiKate cleanser sounded like something I really wanted to try! Super bummed to see that it’s sold out on Sephora’s UK website. Thanks for another informative video!
I’ve been enjoying your content however, I would love if you included black and brown skin tones. Recommendations for sun screens that don’t leave a white cast. Also what SPF should be used according to where they live. What is good to use for hyperpigmentation with melanin.
Thank-you for your amazing content. It has really educated me and helped me a lot with my skin. ❤❤❤ Can you please please please tell me where is your shirt from? I've been looking for a neon pink collar shirt for a long time but have not find it. 😢
