Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time RU-vidr with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. Before leaving work when my son was born, I was a commercial lender at a bank. I also worked at Sephora and Macy's doing visual merchandising.
I have dry skin with some hyperpigmentation and fine lines. I love natural makeup looks but occasionally go outside my comfort zone a little bit. On my channel you'll find lots of videos about drugstore makeup and drugstore dupes (those are my favorites to film!) but I also review high-end makeup as well. Love your eye makeup in this video, could you please share how you did it? As for matt lipsticks my recommendation would be a Korean Brand called Espoir. I have never ever had such a velvety, non drying matt formula on my lips. It's amazing!

This video couldn’t have come out at a better time! My husband got me a $75 gift card for Mother’s Day and I have been AGONIZING over what to get! Just placed an order with a few of the lip products you mentioned (the lip plumper, one shade of the Cay and two shades of the Sephora) and a mini NARS Radiant concealer because I’ve just never been able to pull the trigger on it. I’ve been using the Ordinary glycolic for my feet for a while, with a Dr. Scholl’s urea-based heel balm! Inexpensive and effective. You got me to try a tubing mascara (Milani) and I’m sold! Before this, I could count on 1 hand the # of times I wore *any* mascara bc of smudges. TY :)

I can vouch for Freck Cheak Slime. I love it more than Rare Beauty liquid blush. The pigmentation is buildable but not overwhelming pigmented. Looks beautiful on the skin too!

Thank you for this video! I don't shop at Sephora a lot because the prices are overwhelming to this drugstore-loving girl! But my husband wanted me to treat myself for my birthday this month so he got me a Sephora giftcard (and coffee beans!). He knows how much I love makeup (and coffee!), but knows that I don't typically go for more expensive stuff. I'm not really in need of anything at the moment, but that glycolic acid stick and those SPF lip balms are things that I can totally get behind for summer! Also, do we have the same feet? Because I swear I've tried everything and they are still dry, cracked, and rough. I completely got you when you said they catch on the sheets! I'm embarassed to wear sandles to be honest. One obstacle I face is I simple hate sleeping in socks, no matter the season, but especially now we're in the warmer months...

I dont know how u feel about elf mascaras i think they have 2 minis 1 is the big mood and i think the lash n roll both come in minis for 4 bucks i think you have to select all mascara or all eye products and then they pop up i dont think they have a mini lash extender yet❤😊 i hope this helps

I'm with you on the mini mascaras.....I'm pretty religious about tossing my mascara after four months too, and the big tubes never get used up by then. That glycolic acid stick sounds great! Did you notice any stinging when you applied it?

Not at all! But the skin on my feet is pretty toughened/callused so maybe that's why. It might tingle if you use it on arms/legs. :)

Been enjoying the ELF Lash Extender very much lately. I suggest Bag Balm for rough feet after you achieve max softness from the stick? I use it when I train for a local walk relay and it prevents blisters and calluses very well. Not the very best smell, but such soft skin! I prefer it to any perfumed cream.

The nails look wonderful on you! Let us know how well they stay on. I've seen from other content creators that the nail glue at Sally's is the best, if you want to keep using them. I decided to get the one of each of the lip balms, and I also got a sample of the Tarte tubing mascara with some points. I can't wait!! Thanks for the recommendations!💜😘

i JUST finished watching your recent drugstore video!!! i clicked so fast that i forgot to send my comment on it. i’m definitely going to try the inkey list product. the jack black lip balms are holy grail status, and i even got my mom hooked on it, and i sent two gift sets to my aunts in puerto rico, and now they’re obsessed with them!!! the new pineapple one smells so delicious, but the original shea butter is my favorite also. i wear them before bed and i wear them during the day because of the spf. omg, i have the cat skin nude spf lip balm in my sephora cart. i’ve wanted to try them for a reallllly long time, and i recently saw you wearing one in a video, and i fell in love with the color and shine. sephora collection has soooo many hidden gems. i love when they have their sales throughout the year and when they have 4 x’s points (even though their point system isn’t as good as ulta’s). i’m going to pick up the exfoliating mask. the clinique pink honey is on my loves list. freck’s lip products are really good, and i fell in love with their lip liners. the liquid blush in big thrills is on my wishlist. the ONLY thing i have from westman atelier is their squeaky balm in garson (s/p) and the formula is beautiful, and it was a gift from my sister last year. i’d love to try more. i want to pick up the mini cream bronzer and blushes. i haven’t tried caliray’s mascara but i keep hearing such great things about it, and i live in such hot and humid environment, esp this time of year, and i need something that won’t smudge. i tried the lip plumper and i really liked it, and i’m not usually into burning lip plumpers at all. now i have to run back and rewrite my comment from your drugstore video!!! ♥️♥️♥️

I am not a snob about Sephora brand products. I think they have some good stuff! Also, I love The Ordinary brand for their serums. I use the Hyaluronic Acid one. The Sephora glosses look really nice, so I'll definitely explore those, Jen, as well as the Clinique Pink Honey! At one point Clinique offered a Black Honey gloss in a gift with purchase, and I loved that even more than the Almost Lipstick version. Sadly, it was limited addition or just a promotional item.

Hi Jen, thanks for the video! I'm looking forward to trying the Almost Lipstick in Pink Honey. I have it in the Black Honey, and I like the color and the formula. But I need to use up some other lipsticks in my stash before I buy a new one. With respect to the Caliray Big Swell Lip Plumper, I don't see any fragrance or flavor in the ingredients list, but it does have alcohol in it. I'm confused as to why a lip produdt was formulated with this ingredient! It's pretty far down the long ingredients list, but it's there. And the Freck Makeout Club Blurring Lipstick actually has several fragrances in it as well as flavor. Specifically, citronellol, citral, hexyl cinnamal, linalool, and orchid extract. Most of those are at the end of the ingredients list, so there isn't much in the product. I'm guessing that's why you didn't smell or taste it.

Freck is a brand that I’m going to try more from. The blushes that you showed launched maybe two years ago, I really like the one I’ve bought. Babs Beauty here on YT swears by their moisturiser in the tube ( she also likes the lip balm from Cay Skin ). I’m next going to try the lipliners and lipsticks from Freck. We used to be able to buy the lip balm from Jack Black here in Sweden, but I can’t find it anywhere🥲, I’m now squeezing out the last of my two tubes. Thanks for sharing your recommendations! 💕

The only Sephora collection skincare product I’ve tried is the firming eye cream, and I really like it. I’ve purchased it a couple of times. Also caliray mascara is my holy grail. It doesn’t smudge!
