Thanks. It's hard to believe that the saw palmetto was literally flattened to the ground 8 years ago when my old oak trees were removed. Large 4-foot diameter chunks of trunk were dropped from full height onto it. You could drive a lawn mower over the palmetto without hitting anything. It really is a miracle that it survived at all. That particular fan palm I bought because it looked grayish rather than bright green. Thanks again.
