Such a rare and precious moment most of us don’t have with our parents at all.

I was alive when the President was murdered. It has left a open wound that will never, ever heal. I was so lucky that for only a moment in my life this man was my President.

I really love this one. Makes me want to cry.

Oh this is so cute. I don’t know what’s more sad, that jfk jr. was only 2 and didn’t even have memories of his dad, or the fact that Caroline did and knew what she lost 💔

2022 August 18th. Mr. Reenberg, just lovely 😊!! Lovely, uncomplicated moments to watch. Well-choosen music while watching !! There's a moment where after "John-John" has given a piece of hamburger to his dad, his dad has taken it into his mouth but is really holding it in his hand... Then pretending again to take it out and sharing it again with his son this time 😁. It's quite endearing and personal to watch!! It's his own child at the age of a toddler and psychologicly : as his son shared it with HIM, HÉ shared it back again. Very balanced in the raising of his child. It's all so very relaxed, uncomplicated. Loved it 🎯 Compliments, Sir !! President Kennedy would be 105 if he was still with us.

I can imagine how hard it would've been for John Jr to watch these home movies and wish he had his dad with him...heartbreaking. But also very lucky to have had these too. I love how President Kennedy was doing the sneaky..I ate my piece of burger, but John Jr caught him out. Too cute lol 😂❤

I was 3, my earliest memory unfortunately was the president's assassination, I don't remember the incident but my mother crying and other adults crying, I guess it was their emotional response, because I'd never seen my mom or other adults cry. RIP Mom and Dad.🙏🇺🇸

So many emotions (and tears) watching this….what might have been had he lived and the loss of americas innocence along when he was murdered along with the worst politicians for the next 60 yrs.

In the summer of 99 I was returning from a months vacation in Greece. Some friends picked me up at the airport after flying all day and told men that John John's plane was missing. I just cried

This makes me want to cry. It was around this same time I would be with my parents at the beach in the summer. John looks so sweet. At one point it looked like Jackie could tell he was getting tired because he rubbed his eye. I miss the country at that time.

What was in that burger anyway? John John didn't want it, and the dog was picking at it with a perplexed look.

Not many know, but this video was taken a month after the Kennedy's lost their son Patrick. Born August 7, 1963 and died August 9, 1963. He only lived for 39 hours. If you look closely, you can see the sadness. What's heartbreaking is knowing the nightmare Jackie will endure in just over 2 months from this. That poor woman. I'm glad she wasn't around to see JFK Jr. die in his plane crash.

I am a swede and sat and looked at a nature program on our TV. Suddenly they cut the program and our man in US Arne Thoren, sad that kennedy had been shot in Dallas Texas. I was 13 years old and get a chilly feeling in my body. To bad, he was one of the best president US ever had later on. Lincoln was good to. An ordinary man with good ideas.

Special times ... as often is the case our best and brightest are not with us long enough. In 2018, when last in Washington DC, I noticed in about 10-15 minutes over 500 people had come to his grave. While always emotional, given the present tumult, I really missed him that day. The people who took him did so for their own narrow selfish reasons, but they stole from not only Americans, but so many around the world this brilliant man who seemed bring out better things in so many of us. I sometimes feel that in the 1960's we had been presented with these great men and as a society we were just not ready for them ... so we killed them. I think it will take a long time yet to see his like again. With the vitriol of how our leaders are treated, I fear many competent folk, will out of protection for their families, not place their name on the ballot.
