I don't understand why piercing one side of your nose is considered halal but the other is considered haram. One way or another, it's just a hole in your noise
i feel sorry for this girl because she gets so much religious debate in her comments just because she chooses to wear the hijab like???chill u know?why cant someone just let others express religion freely without arguing about it in the comments i mean this video literally has nothing to do with her religious beliefs at all
oookay ya thats cool but i mean sorry if this is just me being ignorant, but cant some people have different views on their own religion Liikee how the bible forbids pork and ripped clothes BUT im sure lots of christians eat bacon and wear fashionable jeans , y'know? so cant some muslims drink alcohol and pierce themselves, etc - because in the end dont all religious teach that god loves everyone no matter what?
***** It is not because she is wearing a piercing but also she may not let see her hair because then ervery other men she her beautyfull hairwhy then a piercing who is also the same she atractive men and her nails are also attracktive to menso i donl,t understand why she must wear a hijab that is not nessesary she may make her more beautyfull by everything but still wearing the hijabi wil never understand that
Joke Adema ok but isnt it just as much her choice to do what she wants with her body like piercing it etc as much as it is her choice to cover her head
***** exactly!! like why do ppl care so much if the video has NOTHING to do w/ her hijab (like it still wouldnt be their business if it WAS a video about her religious preferences but u get what im saying i hope)
I'm so pissed off, I had a dream last night where I got my septum pierced, and it didn't hurt that much. It looked SO good, I was so happy with it, but then I woke up :(
+Ava Carroll i don't recommend doing it by yourself but i did (i'm 14) i boiled a safety pin and searched up as much as i could to know exactly where and how to pierce it, my mum got mad but over time she doesnt mind anymore. obviously your parents could be stricter and a lot of parents rip piercings out so it's really up to you, but if you do end up doing it then good luck doing it and be sure to do aLOT of research, ps dont pierce your cartilage.
+Hannah Gaboob I'm 14 too! :) my parents aren't strict really, my dad probably wouldn't care that much. But my mom probably wouldn't let me because it's 'weird or whatever. and that's incredibly sad that some parents actually do that to their children
you go girl. but the haram police in the comment section be like: more than 3.5cm of her wrist is showing that is haram allah will never forgive!!!!1 chill. just chill.
Ta3min But who are you people to judge her? Are you and all the people judging her perfect Muslims? Maybe you should all leave Saima alone and focus on how you can be a better Muslim instead of judging others.
Muslims are so quick to get offended, it is because people like you are why others think our religion is oppressed. Just stop and think. I personally don't like the piercing on mine or anyone else's body, but who am I to judge? Only Allah (SWT) can do that. Its not in your job description as a Muslim, so no need for judgment. There's a difference between guidance, and judgment, and I've not seen one comment here intended for guidance. That is what is truly shameful. If you're so proud to be Muslims, then truly act like one and stop the hate.
This is so funny to me. A muslim girl can't get a septum without being called a pig or a cow, but a white girl can do it and barely have any backlash. This girl is a human too, she can wear whatever she wants to wear and frankly, i think she looks cool with it.
Okay, so I am not Muslim (in fact I'm a Christian,) nor do I plan on getting a septum piercing, but I totally watched this almost 20min because of your personality! Gosh, you seem like an amazing person! Yeah, that's all I had to say lol Stay you :)
Oh my gosh!!!! You are so so so cool!!! I rarely see Muslims with these kind of piercings, (I'm Muslim myself) and I've been wanting this kinda piercing for a while so omg this makes it easier for me to convince my parents to let me get one 😍
I think Saima did enough research to know if it was Haram or not, writing paragraphs and paragraphs on how it is Haram is really..Irrelevant, at this point, since it's already been done with, and over. And she's happy, so.
Can I just say that my 70 year old gran has a septum piercing (which she doesn't have a ring on anymore). She got it done when she was 8 in Bangladesh and even back then people didn't oppose it, so I don't see how people think its wrong today.
Stop saying "This is haram, you're a bad Muslim" and other bullshit like that. Who is the one who gets to judge a person? You or Allah? Unless you're Allah (swt) himself, don't talk. I think she looks gorgeous, mashallah. :')
oh, when i clicked this i thought "how can you spend 20 minutes talking about your septum piercing" but this was really informative and i'm honestly considering it now...
its funny seeing all the muslims going cray in the comments, piercings are allowed for women in islam so pls chill. Yes in tradition, it is frowned upon, for example, I'm pakistani, I wouldn't get a septum piercing bc it's considered "strange" to my family or culture, and I'm like sure, that's fine, I respect that. But there are some (especially desis) families that just /feel/ like it's wrong, and they say it's wrong or forbidden because they are simply scared that their innocent little offspring will turn into an emo or smth. (If you're not desi this prob. sounds extreme, but chill, we're ok w it). People saying it's HARAM are completely off, like, no, when the hell did you hear that. And just a btw, there was an faq islam thing, and someone asked if it was ok for women to get such piercings, and the Imam/scholar said it was fine. (as long as its not- you know what im saying) SO BASICALLY- everybody chill, especially you desis (this is coming from a desi).
Emaan Haseem I agree on the part where you're saying it isn't haram, but I'm sure it isn't allowed, since you're making a permanent and visible change to your face, everyone sees your face. I'm not sure but I don't think it matters if you do it on other body parts that aren't visible to everyone, since you ('re supposed to) cover it up anyway. I won't say anything about her doing it though, since a lot of us all put on make up and wear revealing clothes in all sorts anyway and nothing is said about that either. Also, there are a lot of Imams who misinterpret things too, so you should also think about some stuff logically. We aren't supposed to dress up in a way others can appreciate it too, we're supposed to be modest. I personally would like such piercings too, but if you think about it, it's stull not completely right. Since it's visible for everyone to see.
I'm a Muslim (Iberian Muslim... known for being really tolerant...lol) and I love your piercing! There is nowhere in the Qur'an than forbids piercing and people (mostly other Muslim brothers and sisters) get arsy and say this is bidah, that is haram etct etc... It's not haram... And your piercing looks awesome! Salaam x
I don't know why most of you are commenting publicly about whether her piercing is haraam or not.. if you really had the right intentions to tell her about it then you'd message her or something instead of commenting such comments here... I think Saima's done the research on the piercing and its her choice whether she wants it and not yours. P.S. I love your videos Saima :) ♥
Why so many religious comments. She's Muslim. She has a piercing. Its haram. Okay we get it. Now move on! I don't see people criticizing Christian RU-vidrs for showing their legs.
exactly!! just cause she's a Muslim, most of the comment section is filled with religious remarks. like, I never see such comments on Christian people's videos. :/
That head covering and septum combo is so beautiful! I’ve been wanting to get my septum pierced and start wearing head coverings/veils. It’s so much symbolism and modesty and I love it
Your face is so expressive I love it SO MUCH! I just got my septum and I've been bingeing youtube videos and yours has really stood out. Very informative, very cute!
Dear Saima, I think that you are absolutely one of the most interesting people I have ever seen on RU-vid. I never had the opportunity to hear someone who was a Muslim and at the same time an incredibly open-minded, awesome and funny person as you are (and with such a great taste in fashion and makeup!) I have no deep knowledge about Islam (in my country, Chile, I have only seen a Muslim once in my entire life), but I know that in general occidental (and Christian) people tend to create negative stereotypes towards Muslims based on ignorance and what they watch on TV. I think that if more people watched your videos, people could truly start erasing such negative stereotypes and start informing themselves a little bit more before speaking negatively about someone who has just a different religion. Keep it up with the awesome videos, girl! And beautiful septum by the way!
Just wanted to say in islam its haram to hurt yourself or cause and as you said you were in pain, also the fact that when you do wudhu you're nose wont be fully cleansed unless you take it out every time you perform wudhu. But yes i am not a perfect muslim at all! In fact i believe you are probably a better muslim yourself! But whatever pleases you xxx
Well then wouldn't getting ear piercings or regular nose piercings be wrong too because that might hurt and according to your knowledge not cleanse properly. Also wouldn't that mean like getting a braces or having an operation be wrong as well because it will hurt
Omg noo.. do your research on this... it's not haram.. and for nose and ear piercings the method wadu is that that you gently shake it , and it's all good.. please represent Islam for what it is.. not for what you want it to be.. and if you're not sure about something do not comment or say anything about it..
You have all your opinions I have mine! In terms of the ears, piercing is aloud because the first woman to do so was Sarah, the wife of Ibrahim pbuh. Also sister I suggest you go and read surah Fussilat where it clearly states that on the day of judgment your skin will even testify against you. Nose piercings are not aloud in Islam its a cultural thing lololol. Anyway not here to argue just wanted to get my points across on why i thinks its forbidden each to their own! I genuinely do hope its not and i am wrong :)
LOL when I pierced my lip people asked my husband how he could let me do it...and after he caught his breath from laughing he responded that they had clearly never met his wife if they thought he could "let" me do anything.
I still don't understand why there are rude comments on here... I really think you should shut up. It's HER effing body, she can decide for herself what she wants. Personally, I think a septum piercing looks amazing on her.
A word to the "haraam police": So I am no expert (nor are you all for that matter), but I'm pretty sure that Saima is totally fine. She did not have to remove any article of clothing or show any of her private parts to a stranger to get this piercing. In the end, it is God's place to judge, not yours. She is just expressing herself! P.S.- Saima, you and your family rock for respecting your own autonomy. I'm so glad that there were no freak-outs and that there is respect for your own independent decicions. You go girl!
I don't understand why everyone is being so nasty in the comments. If it's not your body, it's not your place to say what looks good and what doesn't. You're absolutely beautiful and the piercing suits you wonderfully.
You can flip it up if you do this weird thing with your lip. I have my septum done and I did this to flip it up while it was healing so it wouldn't hurt. Basically you just take your thumb and your index finger and squish together (like horizontally) the middle of your upper lip like right under your nose so your septum kind of stretches out, and you can push the jewelry right up. :) sorry if this makes no sense it's kind of a weird thing to explain XD but I hope it helped haha.
If I even get this done soon I want to flip it up for work purposes we are not allow to have facial piercings at my job. But I want to have it put up while its healing so I don't deal with it and I'll be fine at work. But the pain is what is scaring me
The septum piercing suits you very well!! :) I pierced my own septum three days ago. Of course I don't recommend that, everyone should go to a professional, but it went very well. I did everything very sterile and clean, just so you know. It was only a short pinch because I did it very quick, and even shoving the ring within the tube through the nose didn't really hurt. :) But I have to say I did veeery much research before I did it and that's probably why it went fine.
OMG! I can't believe the amount of hate this woman is getting for piercing her nose. If you all spent half the energy you are on spreading so much judgement and hate on this beautiful lady then we would have world peace. Easily. Calm down! Also please stop using the Quran to justify your hate and judgment. If you didn't know the Quran strictly forbids judgment and backtalk, which is clearly what many of you are doing. The irony is just laughable. Saima: you look beautiful!
Hi I was researching septum piercings and came across this video and I just want to say I adore you. You’re super funny and pretty and I love your attitude and energy!! I never watch videos this long but you engaged me the whole time and had great content. Just wanted to show some love 😊💓
You look fantastic, pay no attention to the happiness parasites telling you how to live your life :) Enjoy your piercing! Looking forward to getting mine x
I find that when someone posts a comment saying: that is haram! This is haram! Then please add the source where you found the information to your comment. That way we can all learn from each other. If you go around yelling everything is haram with no source or proof then you shouldn't even have to bother to comment. Don't forget to always check the sheikh that said something about a certain topic if he's legit or not. ANYWHO, I do think the septum ring suites you Saima. XOXO
Hey salam sister I'm a Muslim girl who really wants to know I'm I allowed to have piercings done ok my face or no ? I likes rock black metal bands but I really wanted to know I subscribed to u ❤🤲🤲🤲🤲🤲😊
im a metal head and emo and muslim :D i think in islam it only lets u get it on ur ears and nose but if u want it anywhere else then go for it tbh! do what makes u happy
I actually didn't like how the septum piercing looked on you when you first got it but now that i'm seeing it again, it looks great! It works with your face and your makeup is fabulous here!
wow, I just clicked by chance, and to be honest, I was really surprised that someone who wears a hijab would get a piercing, not in a demeaning way, but in terms of religious reasons. But you look beautiful.
I've many piercings, including my septum, as well as a tattoo and I intend to get more. I've always struggled with the implications it would have religiously, I too am Muslim. Personally, I feel religion is personal, no one should have a say on how you follow it. I get my piercings and tattoos for myself, not to show of to anyone or to 'fit in'. Therefore I feel it's fine ! It's not for vain reasons, it's for myself. It's amazing to see someone else who has one, yet still practises. It looks amazing on you too btw !
U ARE AMAZING! I never really liked youtube vloggers but your personality is so unique and colorful i couldnt stop watching. Definitely going to folow you, you are a great inspiration! Im getting my septum piercing done tomorrow and this is one of the best videos i've seen to know whats up. Thank you!
Omg I love your septum first and foremost! Secondly I died when you said people get turned on by everything and then cut the music for emphasis 😂😂😂 You're awesome, love your personality!
This is the first video I'm watching from you and I think you're absolutely amazing. You're funny, gorgeous and I love your view on religion and beliefs. You're great
I don't get why everybody's going crazy, when nowadays eastern-inspired septum rings are all the rage. Like... where do you think that came from? You look gorgeous, gal!
You are definitely a powerful strong brave and glamourous woman. People that is judging you is just so ignorant that respects and tolerance are at the base of every religion. Please keep on being who you are!
This is my first video by u and I and defo subscribing. I was looking for nose piercing videos and this was really helpful! Thanks for the info and ps lov yr makeup especially yr eyeshawdow. :)
Hey Saima! me and my friends missed you! lol could you please you please let us know if your busy with your wok or studies and unable to upload videos. thank you, btw one of them was like "i cant live without you XD !"
The general measurements are 1/8 tsp of sea salt to an egg cup or shot glass of cooled/tepid water (previously boiled).Sea salt is considered the best for healing wounds as it has anti-inflammatory properties. They say that a more concentrated mixture is not better, as that can kill off your 'good bacteria' that is working alongside the saltwater. Hope this helps anyone :-)
I work in a corporate office and I have to do this when I attend work... The trick to the "flip up" is to do what you do if you get your upper lip threaded... bite your lips together so you are able to slightly stretch the space between your upper lip and nose, tilt your head back, slowly, then flip UNDER...give it try :)
I love this video!! I have my septum pierced too and find that it's all that people stare at when I'm talking to them! I love it and I am so glad that I got it! Your video is awesome! I love that you're all about doing what you want, that's the best way to be!! You're super funny! Love it!
Hello, in order to flip up the horseshoe ring, you will need to visit a piercing shop, and they can kind of stretch/open it a bit so the opening of the 'U' is larger and you can get it up. I had to do that for mine.
Why do(most) Muslims act so judgmental as if they are so perfect. I have Muslim friends, and they don't gaf about what others do with their life's. And they're not perfect themselves either. I love them and all but behind close doors they've done things that are considered 'haram'. Pretty much a septum piercing is nothing compared to what they've done. So before judging and acting like you're sooooo perfect, look at yourself first! I'm not racist but that's the ONE thing that bothers me about Muslims. Ya'll act as if you're perfect when in reality NOONE is. Leave this girl alone gosh.
