I'm a little sad we didn't get a little more gameplay in the beginning. Traveling in the depths more with Zelda would have been fun. Either way the game is 11/10!

I just really want to know what the original vision was here. There's no secret stones, raurus hand doesn't have sage rings and (imo) a more twili style design, no sign of a broken master sword or links arm getting torched...very curious what the original plan was.

It’s crazy how we know all about the game now and back then we knew nothing about this mysterious sequel and everyone was making theories about just a 1 minute trailer. Kinda nostalgic

It’s weird how many things didn’t end up being used from this trailer! For example, the thumbnail where we see what is now Rauru’s hand merging with Links arm while in the actual game itself, Link just kinda wakes up in the Room of Awakening with it after being saved by Rauru

After the beating the game, I can say that not only has the game lived to the hype, but surpassed it in every way. Truly the way modern gaming should go.

I remember watching this trailer for the first time during the summer of 2019; I wasn’t even technically a teen yet! This game has truly been a HUGE part of my and many others’ lives!

Welcome back everybody! It's been a long wait but we're nearly here, can't wait for the 12th of May to Ascend, Recall, Fuse and Ultrahand

The fact that link isn't swinging a sledgehammer at all those luminous stones is unsettling me

Revisiting this, I'm surprised how true to the game it was. Not a lot was changed. There wasn't a luminous stone bridge or that ox--esque creature, or any creature at all in their exploration of the depths. But their discovery of Ganondorf is almost frame-for-frame the same as the reveal. That's impressive. I also still love that reverse sounding melody in music. It's still there in the final release, but it's not a direct motif to any character, and not Ganondorf's theme directly, just a foreboding theme, but it's so good.

Now that the game is out you can tell how early this footage was.

That's honestly the most terrifying thing I've seen Nintendo put out in a while

This is the longest April I've ever been through days feel like years at this point just waiting on this game

I'm a little disappointed that they eliminated the idea of the right arm power just absorbing into Link's arm, or that they scratched the idea of Link and Zelda traveling the caverns on whatever that giant animal was, however, I do like that they originally made the champion's tunic with the same armor pieces as the original hylian tunic, and in the finished game, they changed it up a bit to make it more interesting to look at.

looking at the teaser trailer again, it seems that some scenes were cut

This trailer compared to totk, the environment and the green swirl of Rauru's hand are so much more polished and high quality, it really goes to show how taking long development times truly can polish a game to perfection.

I hadn’t started highschool yet when this game was first announced, and now, it finally came out two weeks before I graduated. And it was worth every second of waiting

After nearly 4 years, the game officially releases tomorrow! It took a while but the this game seems to be incredible from the first reviews! So excited to play it tomorrow!

I just realized that there’s no rats and the dondon they have were scrapped and just left near a stable Crazy that it’s been 4+ years now since this trailer and yesterday i just beat the game 😁
