I want to ask, there is written on the box to change 1/3 of the water just every other day, means not every day since the second day as in your video. My fish is not that sick so I was recommended to do so and change the water every other day. So If I want to follow these instructions how much of the pill should I use? Again whole pill for 50l aquarium or less? Thank you for reply

Hello!!! 1 tablet of baktopur direct is used for 50liters of water. As I used 75liters, on the first day I administered 1 tablet and a half (50+25). Since 1/3 of 75 is 25, on the following days I did 1/3 water change, i.e. 25 liters, and gave the respective half of the tablet for that amount of water taken. The goal is to maintain the initial antibiotic concentration, making water changes so as not to deteriorate the water, replacing the same amount of medication, depending on the water removed.

Hello my friend!!! During the treatment we should only feed if the fish will eat, even then, I recommend not feeding for the first 2 or 3 days, because this will only further pollute the water which is already at a bad level due to the medicine.

Hello my friend!!! Sorry for the huge delay in responding. I've been a bit away from social media and the PSK aqua project, but I'm slowly making a comeback. I sincerely hope the fish didn't die.... In response to your comment, which I really appreciate, I don't know what's wrong with your fish. The baktopur is an antibiotic and may not be a bacteriological problem. You have to know what is wrong with the fish before treating with a drug that may just be delaying a more effective treatment.

Hi Alin!!! It is not advisable , but you can do it. Since it is an antibiotic it will kill the beneficial bacteria in the filter.

Hi I have one doubt In my discus community one weak fish is there He will.eat when we feed But always bullied easily by other discus fish How can I make him strong and make sure he domt develop any disease later due to stress He is eating but seem like early stage of any diseases Help me with this

Hi Gowtham!!! I apologize for not having answered your question. RU-vid has put your comment for review because it assumed that what you wrote (will.eat) was a link... Answering your question, what I would do is separate the fish and fatten it apart... If there is no such possibility, I would try to distribute the food throughout the aquarium so that the Bully's can let it eat. If he's attacked even outside eating hours, I'd try to change the site decorations so that the territories already held are no longer there and he has a chance to start to stand out.
