Considering its an old 2 Core machine with 8GB Ram and Serato stems is Beta it did pretty good man. Yeah don't use it at a paid gig sure, serato even recommends currently you don't even if you have a top spec machine but i reckon when its out of Beta if you do a Fresh OS instal and keep it with Zero bloat and stick to 2 Deck mixing your probably gonna good. Especially if you try and keep to using tracks you added to your Stems before and don't analyse them on the fly.

Firstly you need to keep your laptop in pristine condition!! I have a cooling mat with 3 fans under my laptop at every gig. I just installed the stems beta and the only issue on my 2014 MBP with 16GB memory was waiting for the stems to process. And that's just a few seconds. Bear in mind I ALWAYS power on my laptop and run Serato - never while it was on for a long period. Also I do not keep TSRs running on my laptop. Background stuff like antivirus programs will reduce your operational memory. On occasion when I know I'm going to go hard at a gig I will even turn off WiFi. Also I turned off auto analyze so I only get it processing stems when I actually use the feature. But it is INSANE what you can create on the fly!! But keep your computer clean and you will be rewarded 💯💯👍🏽👍🏽

Sorry, a little late maybe but there is a crate for stems so you can drag your songs there. This will create an specific file and your computer will not analyze stems on song loading, making your CPU considerable better (no so much stress as when analyzing stems on load), thus it means less heat. The opportunity cost, however, is that it requires SSD space, but as you have plenty (3TB) this could work for you. :)

I'm running the Beta on a mid-2014 MacBook Pro Mojave 10.14.6. 2.5 ghz intel core i7 16GB 1600MHZ DDR3. Serato will crash sometime if "I'm getting Jiggy Wit IT" ,practicing playing with all 4 decks using the stems. I will say that it just crashes when I load a song from 1 deck to the other during the mix.Another DJ friend of mines suggested that it might be a memory issue, but I have plenty memory.Other than that, I haven't had any other issues while using the Roland DJ 808. I also used it with my portable Hecules Starlight. Now this carries another issue which is a sound delay. Sound is about a second off from what you see on screen or say after you hit a cue. This doesn't happens all the time, it starts off that way but it will eventually catch up and be on cue after a little while of playing.

At least some of you guys can load and play tunes; I can't even get my songs loaded and analyzed. I've got over 35k songs. I have a Dell 64 bit computer with an Intel i7-6700 CPU @3.4 GHz, 4 cores with 16 GB memory, 1.5 TB regular storage and a 2TB external hard drive, and I can't even get all my songs stored and analyzed in Serato 3.0. I'm not exactly sure what to do in order to solve this problem. Pls help a brother out DJ Cee B.

Intel chips are rubbish. Come over to the m1 m2 chips.

by a pc your mac is too old. Acer Predator Helios 300 is a better deal. memory and hard drive upgradable you are also able to control the fan speed.

yeah thats not going to work.Serato and its new features will probably work best on the new m1,m2,on wards but at least 2019 and later machines might be ok but below that maybe not
