Fun fact: This was a match between two champions of UCL. One former and one current. Generally, Man City is an excellent and very strong team. Crvena Zvezda couldn't do anything there. Unfortunately.

Hi thanks for the comment, I was planning to go to the return match in Belgrade in December but unfortunately I won’t be allowed time off work to go so I am heading to Leipzig instead in a couple of weeks. I’d love to visit Belgrade sometime, looks like a really interesting place and of course it would be great to see the famous atmosphere in your home stadium first hand too best of luck for the rest of the season

Greetings,some history facts about FC Royal (Red) Star Belgrade: Club is established on 6th August 1913, by Patriots and Royalist in honour of liberation wars for Kingdom of Serbia prior WW I. Because of that they choose name: SK Velika Srbija (SC Great Serbia). After WW I,club change name into SK Jugoslavija (SC Yugoslavia). Then communist are coming on the power in 1945 and changes in FK Crvena Zvezda(FC Red Star). The stadium,fans, players and badge of the club is same ,like before WW II ,only adding star on club badge. People who in charge of the club don't want to recognize early history of this glorious club... cheers and all the best.

not true. FC RS was established in 1945 and it had nothing in comon with clubs before ww2 except some players played.

@@bingoESame stadium, same club colours , almost the same club crest (red star is new) and the fact that is the only true Belgrade football club in new Socialist Yugoslavia? Almost the same SK Jugoslavia fans and new one as new base, as the best Belgrade football club, not Army football club such is FK Partizan. Communist regime tried to put distance between 1945. FK Crvena Zvezda and old clubs (FK Velika Srbija and SK Jugoslavija) and they succeded. Now the most of people did not find any connection in those clubs...Officiall history now tells the story that Red Star is club established 1945. but nothing with older clubs. So, let's agree with modern history, but I am just telling some facts who might be interesting (but not definitely trueo, offcourse) ...And it is not Cherwena Hvezda,it spells more like Srvena Zvezda..

What a load of horseshit. Red Star Belgrade was founded by communists. By the guy who killed Draža Mihailović leader of nazi collaborators Chetniks. The history revision is very common in all ex-Yu countries. But was never common for Red Star Belgrade fans. We know that our club is established 1945. We are not like Dinamo Zagreb which is established in 1945 as well. Pathetic attempt of history revision

Agree we weren't clinical enough in the 1st half.Much better in the 2nd half, Haaland was so unlucky not to score.Concerning that we were beaten by pace for their goal.If Walker is pushing up, then unfortunately that's going to happen.Early in the season & City will only improve.

Moving to electronic nowadays and you’ll struggle to get any ticket without being a member unless there is a game with not much demand, which there isn’t many. If there is any, it’ll be a midweek game V a team that more than likely won’t bring that many away fans pal

Cheers mate would love to heading to Belgrade in December for the reverse match but I’ll be working when the dates are otherwise I’d have been there. Would love to have seen for myself what Serbia is like😁 one day. and I think it’s an English thing, something doesn’t go someone else’s way at a football match, you get hand gestures and ironic cheering😂
