2019 USO was her best slam performance since coming back in 2018. I’m still traumatized by those finals performances. It was like watching a shell of Serena. She was completely gone mentally in those finals 😢

definitely!!! Literally destroying Wang in qf and then to do the same against Svitolina..... if only she could have stayed as confident for the Final

that match point against McNally lives in my mind rent free.... that was such a cunty, diva-like return.... like only Serena can be so stupidly confident, almost delusional to hit THAT for MP .... luv her forever!!!!

Wimbledon should really confiscate Haleps trophy and just award it to Serena. Halep was doping this entire time.

It’s great to hear that Serena and Sharapova communicate with each other in positive ways nowadays!!❤❤❤

If only Serena had decided to retire in 2019, gotten even fitter, & went for broke at WC & USO for 24 & 25.

If only she could have lessen a tiny little amount of errors during the Finals then she might have won the tournament. :(

She really disappeared in those finals. Maybe if she played like a Sharapova she’d have won

2019 US Open was the last time Serena played with such effortless power and incredible movement.

That's not true. She started struggling with consistency. Effortless power has never been a problem for her

@@Tied348 Nope. 2020 she switched her racquet to a smaller head size, tighter strings set up, and stopped using the big forehand takeback. Aussie Open 2020 you notice how much she struggled to hit past her opponents.
