I think that Serena is just ready to go and be with her family and start the next chapter of her life. You have to realize that Serena is 40 years old, almost died having Olympia and a husband who loves and supports her.
The importance of a father in his daughters life is exactly what you seen here. Richard knew and he pushed. If you parents believe in you, you will achieve at anything.

Serena, The Biggest embarrassment in American women's tennis is finally gone. She was the GOAT for sure, but what a price we had to pay. I was in the second row the night she threaten to kill a line judge and the USTA didn't ban her from the game. Serena was a entitled narcissistic monster. Her sister Venus on the other hand was a class act all the way.
Serena was absolutely sensational and her biggest challenge at this tournament was rust. She served for the match twice in both two sets and just ran out of gas in the third. She was exhausted by it all. If she's going to play a few matches in AO and one more at Wimbledon to say goodbye then she should really have Ranae by her side. She's such a good influence on Serena. She knows exactly how to communicate and connect with her. Serena should focus on her serve and play more professional sets in training to get her serve back. Her game improved so so much here at the US open and this is someone who had only played 7 matches this year. Just incredible what she's done and still capable of doing. Serena doesn't need to win anything anymore. She should just play to say goodbye to her beloved fans all over the world. Just choose three or four tournaments to play next year as a farewell to an incredible career and life.
Not a tennis guy , never been … But Serena will go down in history for her amazing job and talent in tennis … She truly represented the USA around the world … She truly is a nice person with a good heart … I hope she finds something else out there wherever her journey Leeds her next …..
@@robjohnson8861 the ones not representing the USA are garbage people like you … I’m from Ireland , and I’m seriously tired of hearing the rubbish that comes from y’all rears … Just because someone is a certain skin tone … Your Previous leader wasn’t a good Representative for your country , and look what he has turned that Mess into … Brandon didn’t make it better either … Republicans and Democrats are both Screwed in the head … Your just another hypnotized citizen controlled by the GOP…
watching this just makes me so emotional because you really appreciate what an achievement steffi graf reached in 1988..she was simply inspiring then and obviously now. We love you steffi
I've never heard anyone say they were inspired to pick up a tennis racket and become a professional tennis player because of Steffi Graff. No matter how many grand slams she may have won or how good of a player she was, Steffi Graff does not have and will never have the impact that Serena and Venus Williams have had on the sport. PERIOD!
@@MrBjorn6 He's a miserable hater who, for whatever reason, has decided to go to every video about Serena and try to diminish her accomplishments by making stoopit comments. It's a shame that some people are this messed up in the head that they have to do such things.🤷🏽♀️
@@floriaabney3146 And I agree totally with you. If he was thinking of Graf he/she should post video about Graf and make comment there. I heard from somewhere about a lot of these people in that small island that left the EU five years ago, I can't remember what it is called.
Just go to Graf's videos and make comments there. There are hundreds of tennis players but I came here to see the GOAT, so if you want to see Graf just go to where you can find her videos and write whatever you want to write there.

@@perryhughes9429 There were many ugly meltdowns and tantrums that will haunt her legacy and she got a pass cuz the USTA has no balls. Afraid of the backlash.
What a career ! But I couldn’t help but think her tennis dress looked somewhat restrictive like maybe almost uncomfortable, like one would get “too heated” wearing it.. just a thought we had while watching

God have blessed us by letting us witness the Serena Williams era. I do not believe that I will be watching tennis anymore. It is over for me. Best wishes, great Serena🌹❤️💖💜🌹
Such a sensation and legend! I’m not a tennis player but I am a tennis fan. Haven’t watched too much of her games but I know that it’s been a spectacular journey throughout the decades of her career, all her highs and lows and everything that she’s contributed to the sport. Just amazing!!! She will be remembered as one of the greatest athletes of all time! I wish her all the best for the future! ❤️👏👏☝️🎾🔝
Has she apologized to all the officials n umpires n linesmen n lineswomen n the spectators she had badmouthed during her long long career in ATP prof. ?

@@groofoot bruh…you’re dumb af if you think Margaret was a better player strictly because she has more grand slams. You’ve gotta be trolling, just hating on the black woman.
Serena will be remembered as a talented athlete who broke down barriers for POC and women in sports. She will also be remembered, for those are intellectually honest, as a petulant, arrogant and selfish individual who displayed such disrespect so often -- to chair umpires, line judges and opponents (especially ones she's lost to over the years) that she became unbearable to watch. All this sycophantic drooling over her these last few weeks has been such a spectacle. I for one just hope she fades into the sunset. Bye, girl.
Uhm what a hate? it seems you have some misunderstandings with her!!! otherwise it could not make sense to pour hate to someone you don't even know!! #GoodVibesOnly
@@thebesthoyame No, it's not about hate. Just being a realist. Why is it that everyone glosses over, and no one ever calls her out on, her disrespectful behavior over the years? Especially these last few weeks. Not one mention; so I guess everybody just forgot about all that, eh? How about this for just one example: her US Open final against Naomi Osaka. Aside from her tirade on the court she could barely give Naomi the praise she deserved. That girl has never been the same since. I could go on with many other examples. And now I have a question for you --- why would you pour out all kinds of love on someone YOU don't know? Same coin, different side. Just saying.
@@chrisa1146 people are glossing over her disrespectful behaviour because we don't sum up athletes who have played hundreds of matches over decades by their actions in a handful of matches.
@@serenaistheb.o.a.t Oh, okay, you keep telling yourself that. I shouldn't even bother wasting my time trying to explain to an individual with your chosen screen name, but I'll give it a try. I guess it depends on who it is as to whether or not a "few infractions" matter. You have a very distorted sense of what's acceptable if you think threatening a line judge to assault her with a racket and the whole Osaka debacle was okay on any day of the week. Funny how the goalposts are moved for a select few; excuses, justification, allowances. Sorry, I prefer to hero-worship an athlete who is respectful, gracious and humble. Thankfully there are many, including her sister Venus who always displayed grace and dignity on the court. I have much more respect for her as a sportswoman and an example to kids of all ages, even if she wasn't as "successful" (and she was very successful) as her sister. Try taking off your "Serena-vision glasses" and be honest.
@HRH Hestia's Official Highlights Channel So for you (and I guess for many others) the end justifies the means? When did integrity and character become secondary to "talent" and popularity? How do you guys not see the hypocrisy of your reasoning? Why does she get a pass just because she's a good tennis player? It's unbelievable but when you look at the the state of the world I shouldn't be surprised. The consequences of eroding respect and responsibility are all around. She could have left a really amazing legacy but her lack of character and respect for others are a tarnish on that legacy. Even if you disciples don't want to admit it.
I really believe that you could have won that match easily. Ajla is not your level at all, but it is okay, that's sports especially that you looked tired. Love you, Rena 🧡💙💜💖

30 years watching tennis .Serena can play for sure...I always thought how good it would be for another player to come on the scene as muscular and strong as her to take her on ..but alas it never happened.and it never will happen again ...the game has changed...also that's why you will never see that kind of gap in the men's tennis .
I was watching and praying that she would win but it was never to be. She fought with everything she had. I could not watch the third set because I know if she did not win and given that my pressure was very high and it would become emotional for me I had to turn off the TV. Not withstanding I know that I would see this morning. It tears me up I know when I hear about Women Tennis now it will not matter much to me anymore. Serena is no longer playing Oh God is this really the end.

This is because if the women play after the men no one would stay. Also the US Open ticket prices have gone through the roof since they put up the new roof.
