as a florida girlie i use an spf, a foundation with spf, and a powder with spf!! if im not wearing anything at all, im probably just wearing sunscreen. it is a must 🙂↕️
Nevada girlie here sunscreen is in every single step in my skin care /makeup routine because if how hot it gets in the summer throughout most if winter it stays 70, 80 * i am a person doesn’t burn easily even without spf but being outside for 20 minor longer gives you tan during the summer so yea.
@@Starfly237 I really like drmtlgy but they are American and SO expensive. Not if you are American obviously but I'm Australian so it's quite painful. They have a matte tinted universal moisturiser/sunscreen, spf colour correcting concealer for undereye and an spf finishing powder. Kbeauty have a ton of good options that are cheap too, a lot of their spf products have various tints and finishes, dewy, matte etc. Only problem there is if you are darker skinned then it will all be too light. Supergoop dream screen is crazy popular as a make-up/sunscreen hybrid but it's too dewy and sparkly for my oily skin.
I actually hate that makeup products contain SPF. For one, I constantly hear beauty influencers talk about using them as their only sunscreen. It seems to just mislead people into thinking they are getting more protection than they actually are. Testing should be done on a thickness of the product that a person would actually wear so we know the real SPF. Second, I am sensitive to some sunscreen ingredients. I have tried some foundations and skin tints and loved the way they looked, only to end up itchy and irritated an hour later. I would rather use a sunscreen I know works for me and then an SPF free foundation.
Agree. Sunscreens should be sunscreen and make-up is make-up. They shouldn't be combined. I can deal with tinted sunscreen if it's actual sunscreen but I'm not real keen on skin tints with spf, people apply as much as what looks good as opposed to what they need.
You're right about doing skincare every day. Since I started watching your videos I wake up every morning and immediately do my skincare routine and brush my teeth and it's a great feeling. It makes you feel good and it makes you feel like you can accomplish anything for the rest of your day. I love it so much and I love your channel so much. Without it I never would've learned the skincare routine that has helped my skin so much. I also have your type of skin. Sometimes it's dry and other times it's oily depending on the day so sometimes I have to switch up a little bit depending on my skin issues. I am in love with skincare now and I just wanted to thank you for helping me discover what my skin needs. 🥰
Serena is still stunning! I remember watching her play tennis about 20 years ago. She must be doing something right because she hasn’t aged! Such a beauty xx
Tips for a pregnancy routine would be AMAZING! I totally understand not wanting to get into Dr territory but having some options with all of the restrictions would be so great
Sorry I never had a pimple in my life until I hit early menopause. But on the plus side I finally started using some of your recommendations, purito oil cleanser and deep sea water cream and iunik centella calming sunscreen...be proud, I'm not easily influenced 😂
I struggle so much with the amount of SPF you actually need. My skin hates it, I feel like a greasy mess. Even with light sunscreens, I just can't... 😬
@@AmyMoore333 Thank you. 🙏 I was using Bioré watery sunscreen and Eucerin oil control. They are good compared to other sunscreens I've tried, but still not lightweight enough. Maybe it's impossible to find a sunscreen that feels like a serum because of the filter.
@@pavornocturnus1145Try Dr Ceuracles hyal reyouth spf. It's super lightweight, its more like a fluid and you can barely tell it's there. Dr Ceuracle has multiple other lightweight spfs as well so check those out!!
Would love to see recommendations for baby skin care! There’s so much perfumed scented products for baby idk why seeing as it can sensitize skin, like mustela micellar water, or chemical sunscreens.
I haven't watch your videos in awhile and I didn't remember your eyes are SO blue🤭 kinda got lost in just staring at them the whole video 😆 still loving your vids, their so educational ❤
Thank you for this video on athletes Hiram! As a tennis player myself I struggle with finding the right skincare for me especially because I am in the sun so much. Would you recommend any skincare product to put before playing tennis to prevent sensitive skins or breakouts? Thank you so much for ur videos!
I use drmty tinted. 2 pumps let it sink in after my reg. moisturizer after it settled as well. Then 1/2 pump of MF Reboot. Gives me a light luminescent healthy glow that does fade throughout the day which anything that gives you a glow does. 🙌🏻👍🏻
Always a pleasure watching your videos and reactions. But I've got a question, she started off with an eye mask and then washed her face, wouldn't she have benefited more with putting the eye mask on after she washed her face so she doesn’t wash off the benefits of the serum in the eye mask.
You definitely do need to spend a good amount on LED masks!!!!! It’s easy to create a product with colored light bulbs, but these accredited brands make sure the LED is the proper wavelength necessary to penetrate the skin barrier. They also provide clinical studies with certain brands which others don’t. My favorite is the Celluma! (licensed Esti here!)
I tend to use sunscreens that have at least niacinamide and skip the moisturizer in the morning altogether. I actually almost never put anything on my skin in the morning besides Vit C and sunscreen, I do my skincare at night and in the morning its about skin protection
Hey!! this is Kellie I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your RU-vid videos. I've been going through a really hard time lately mentally and emotionally. Been just really depressed and Ur videos really cheer me up. There is hilarious. Also, wanted to let you know on some celebrity skincare routines that I would love for you to react to. I saw that you reacted to Dove Camerons morning routine I was wondering If you could react to her nighttime skincare routine to. As well as reacting to Vanessa Hudgens nighttime skincare routine, Ashely Tisdale, Laura Marno, Emmy Rossum, Lola Tung, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's, Coco Jones, Sofia Wylie, Jennifer Garner, Camila Cabello, Debbie Ryan, Sofia Carson, Kristen Bell, Alexander Daddario Daytime and Nighttime, Camila Mendes, Brenda Song, Lana Condor, Madeline Petsch Nighttime skincare routine, Candace Cameron Bure Her's is on E News. I would really appreciate if you could react to their skincare routines. I would love to know your thoughts about what the products they use. Love Kellie Bartels ♥
Thanks to you, I've been using sunscreen all year long for quite some time. Whenever I tell people this, they're always impressed and like 'oh, that's why you look so young' 😅 (everyone thinks I'm 25 while I'm actually 34 🤩)
I mean i loved the routine ! To me it is important to get the sunscreen part but only after u get intersted about ur skin which is cleanser moisture maybe sérum if u need to. Often before u master that part, ur not intersted at all in sunscreens. Plus post People dont know that the quantity of spf moisturiser matters for protection. If u dont know it, you can’t change anything about it ^^
Please Hyram idk if you will see this comment. But aveeno discontinued their Positively Radiant daily moisturizer spf 15 with the GREEN cap. That moisturizer did wonders for my skin it’s not even funny. If you can somehow find a dupe for it I would appreciate it so much.
@@kimmieremis3180 So do derms, just in way more detail. Most obgyn's just know isotretinoin = bad, maybe also hydroquinone = bad. The rest requires an on the spot google search.
@@kimmieremis3180 no they do not. Mine wouldn’t answer those questions and sent me to a derm. They won’t prescribe or give you that answer definitively bc it’s not their area of expertise.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't wear regular sunscreen because the whitecast of zinc on darker skin is no joke, and some people just don't know where to find good chemical filters.
This woman used to spend several hours non stop while playing tennis, y'all think she was wearing sunscreen as a medium dark black girl? Nope!! Which I envy since I have fair skin and get a sunburn after 15 min. I love the sun but he hates me 😫 however, I understand why she is not that into spf since her skin is a gift. Beautifully dark and tolerant from UV radiation.
I agree that her skin is a gift (thank you! My skin is close to her color), but the sun is so harsh that I want to protect my skin from damage, so for me, I definitely want to use sunscreen.
Does she suffer from vertiligo? There are noticeable much lighter areas in the center of her forehead, over her eyebrows and at both sides of her nose.
