Series 3 Episode 52 - South Shields 

I was born in South Shields 82 years ago! Born in Morton Street on the Law Top. 26th March 1938 So I went through the bombing in WW2 by the Germans! We slept in an air raid shelter in the back yard! I live in the New Forest now! But been around the world a couple of times!

I just moved away from Shields a few months back, so this was pretty nice to watch :3

Why does shields look so much more colourful back then :(

left south shields 20 years ago I didn't think it was possible for the change to be so big and it's not a bump

Now the metro station has moved it is a tumbleweed town.

Since then 'Canny Shields' has degenerated into a hamlet. It is my belief there is a brown envelope tree somewhere...
