Also adding to the value (and cost) of these, which Harmony doesn't seem to publicize, is that these go through the PLEK machine process and are also fitted with a bone nut. These are made in the former Gibson now Heritage factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A simple design guitar but with top level craftsmanship from what I gather on them. Seems like a fine guitar to me.
Oh man ... not only are the reviews on this channel more informative than most, there's no other person who can actually make me laugh out loud several times in the process.
I have this guitar, and it rips. There’s a bit of neck dive while seated, but not when using a strap. The pickups are delightful, very articulate. They’re around $1300 here in the U.S. It has become my main guitar. Good stuff.
The gold foil on these PU's is just a look. The PU's are actually Firebird PU's. Firebird PU's were designed to sound very Strat like. This was done by placing a magnet on it's side in each of the 2 coils. The result is similar as a Strat with it's 6 individual magnets set on their ends.
Great review .... ya change guitars as often as you change shirts ... I think you're double advertising ... nobody on RU-vid produces a quality SHOW better than you do ... and thanks Leslie for being the switch goddess .... making the production seamless... if people really knew how much effort it takes to produce just 1 review video they would bow in unworthiness... great work you two
Thanks for this, enjoying your videos! Do you think that this model guitar is good for ambient / textural music (lots of delays/reverbs, warm sounds)? I currently have a tele, you think this one would be suited better? would love your recommendation
“Bolt-on”.....LOL. Its actually the first time I lough at one of your jokes. I don’t like your schtick that much, but still your channel is very informative, you are clearly a gifted musician, and ypur opeining somgs are sensational. Cheers and good luck to you.
These guitars sure look classy. The pickups I think are a bit too hot for the application. Can't deny though I had them on my GAS radar for quite a while
I'm still having trouble forgiving you for not understanding the harmonious monk thing (it's named after Thelonious Monk.) Maybe keep making great videos and I'll come around.
11:42 thanks for the laughter. Gotta love the “Opinions of the Ignorant” my next book title after “ How to present opinions as Facts for fun and profit” gets picked up by Oprah‘s book club. 👍🏽 Harmony, All the heritage none of the idiocy. This is a 🐂💩 free zone , I’m the only 💩 here.
