Heatpump is good if its working and within warranty ... after that it can be very expensive if it broke/leak!!! Hyundai Kona/eGolf ..... >$5000 and up :( ELSE I WANT THIS CAR ASAP if it is cheap. Unfortunally it will not cost only
XPeng won heavily by receiving DiDi's technology and the ADAS is fantastic given the price of the MONA M03. Energy efficiency seems fantastic as well, so I'm curious to see the full review of this vehicle. Great review from the Telescope, per the usual.
Great video as always. This car will be 40k euros in Europe if it comes here. I think that's still competitive even with the lack of heat pump and suspension. It will be interesting to see how the self driving works on European roads and it'll be interesting to see what appetite Europeans have for Chinese cars after all the news articles about terrorist style control and spying
The G6 sells for €44k in the EU. If the M03 sells for 150k RMB - it's almost 30% cheaper than the G6. This would make it closer to €33k. Bestseller if they can pull that off.
I live in Xiamen and I'm interested to get an EV for my next car. One I'm really interested in is the Toyota BZ3. I know it's made only for the Chinese market in cooperation with BYD. I read there's a new version coming out - BZ3c or X... There's almost no info in English. Can you get your hands on one of those? 🤩
Wow, a Model 3 competitor with a proper boot. If they actually can release that in a reasonable time it’s game over for Musk. For a buyer who has some 💰, it desperately needs a HUD or cockpit Display though along with the heat pump.
I can not way for them to reach the US market, and all I know is that BYD will be the first Chinese brand to reach the US Market but I don’t like BYD too much .
My biggest problem is that I find it hard to buy a Chinese EV because I have seen that all of the Chinese EV cars are doing great in design, efficiency and efficacy , and it is hard for a buyer to make a choice; to be honest I love it that way because people can find a well make car for a reasonable price, unlikely here in the US where people pay a lot of money just for the brand’s name only
Great looking car and it's a hatchback ( room for a spare wheel ???). Torsion beam is fine with me and even though not as effecient, no heat pump means less bits to go wrong, but i would probably pay, not to have lane assist etc. Great reviews, your view counts make no sense.
Fwd, torsion beam rear suspension=built to it's price point. Interesting he claims $20,500 here but the cnev official chinese ev site claims it's going to start at over 200,000 rmb. Or about 27k. 🤔
If it's not finalized then don't show it. And if interior spec is not finalized you can't show the boot? But you know how many Liters it's going to be?
Actually EQS doesn't look too bad. In fact it look sleek with good aero. The same cannot be said for Ioniq 6 though. That is not a looker though it is distinctive. But in recent years, Chinese cars achieved even impressive aero figures and yet still looking good without messy lines, cuts.
Even less, lol. Prices just dropped: Xpeng is offering the Mona M03 in three variants -- 515, 620 and 580 Max -- with starting prices of RMB 119,800, RMB 129,800 and RMB 155,800 respectively. In Xpeng's model naming, the number is the battery range and Max stands for the most powerful smart driving capability......$21,800 US dollars for the top spec....$16,800 base model. Crazy.
Most people are quite happy with torsion beam, my Peugeot has it and I think that most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I like the car but I would rather a Baojun cloud but I don't know if that is coming to Australia.
