Thanks for the super simple "here are the parts, here are the bolts, the end" i didn't have to sit and listen to you mouth breathe for 15 minutes while trying to tell me how to loosen the alternator. Absolutely supreme!!
Thanks for the video. Without this, I would have missed that bolt underneath and behind the alternator. Things got a lot easier after that. You provided me with the confidence to do this myself. Thanks again!
What a great video, and I really appreciate your tips and how efficiently you reviewed the steps. Saved me time and frustration trying to find the bolts from under the car. Thank you much!!!
Just used this as a guide to tighten up a squeaky belt. Worked great. Was even able to reach the bolt underneath without jacking up my Elantra--thanks to seeing that the bolt was beside the oil filter. Thanks, bro!
Get a spray bottle filled with water and spray the bottom part of the belt that makes contact with the pulleys. When the noise goes away due to the water, you found your belt!
Just make sure you have the 10mm extension socket. THANKS for the upload., yet it's better to take the tire out. Poeple protect your eyes because that dirt will get you.
No tire jack in trunk for spare? Stack a few blocks of wood down, on that side and drive up on them if its runing, dont need much highth, 3pc of 2x6 stacked like steps does the trick for quick oil change
@@nobody3692 it was actually for my mom's car and my buddy had my Jack. But thanks for the tip I appreciate it, I will definitely be doing that if I find myself in that position again.
Thanx for props. jus did this today (after watching this vid) without raising anything and in snow.. leverage for bottom bolt is the issue with the ratchet, to get ur shoulder into it. And a short 12mm open end wrench works best for the tensioner to avoid a/c lines. So shallow socket n stubby wrench n takes less time than watching this vid😉
