I think besides the gameplay, one reason I think people are suddenly taking a liking to Ibuki is that Raita seems to have given her a slight artistic reworking. Her original version had thick blue eyelashes that made her eyes look a little small and menacing like a true monster girl, her attractiveness was an acquired taste. But this version is makes her look several times more inviting for wider demographic.
she has a better version of musashi's pierce invuln utility, better refund than all 3, a 50% battery like space ishtar and summer kama, a special damage mod like summer kama. So for farming she is better than all 3 of them, but she also has cooldown reduction which none of them have AND crit synergy which none of them have. Did I mention that she has multiple AOE and targetable effects, which none of the other three have? I'm worried that Lasengle is going to start ramping power creep exponentially for the sake of short term profits.
Everybody down BAD for summer Ibuki... and I am too, not gonna lie. She definitely has all the tools for the job... and I don't just mean her kit, hehehe.
I will be honest, I have been waiting for saber Ibuki to come out on NA ever since she was announced. I have been saving in a special bank account to NP5 her. Then a few weeks ago I said to one of my friends that I would love to see a summer Ibuki, but that they'd probaby never make one. BOY AM I HAPPY TO BE WRONG!

OG Ibuki is waifu. Summer Ibuki is META waifu. And I do not get why people say "RIP Musashi and Kama summer" They're still as good as they were before Summer Ibuki.
See, here's what I think: Because they didn't rerun summer 6, and made S Ibuki an amazing looper, they're now losing out on potential sales for Summer Kama.
People are saying RIP Summer Musashi, meanwhile I'm just hoping in the 2 years it takes for her to come out in NA some Gigachad will find a team comp that fits both Summer Ibuki and Summer Musashi, cuz both are waifus
At the end it doesn't really matter as it will be like 1% of the situations where it's more useful to use ibuki instead, 99% of the time musashi will get the job done. But my musashi gets benched once summer kama gets released anyway.

While you could say that she's basically the best of the AoE Arts we've got so far, having just 1 looper will sooner or later get boring, so having more than 1 loopers that Omnifarm Efficiently would still give you some amusement if you're bored looking at the same thing for 2 straight years
As one who was already hyped for her Saber coming in december I've got omega blessed I wasn't even expecting anything for summer 2024 units. But god am I a little salty about grailing Summer Musashi to 100 last month. Still love her tho 😅

Her plain 50 charge pales in comparison to her summer version. Longer cooldown be damned. Like she's good, but you're really only using her full potential on herself or certain quick servants. Imma wait and see what ya'll are going to tell me what's Jack going to do with that super bloated single Buster Crit Buff. For generic Quick she seems more like a plugsuit option than a field-option tbh
My servant impression about her he empty my my quartz from 600 to nothing like when thanos snapped that gauntlet . But i got him on my 2 yolo account with proto merlin but still i wont give up drain evere sq in my account. I'll do everything to see her sparkling eyes.
She's actually better with 1 Castoria + double koyan plug suit (no CE required). Simply because her kit (excluding the arts up and np up) is the same as Castoria, same attack, np gain, and 50% np. How to use: Use all of Castoria's skills 1st turn, then use all Sibuki's skills 1st turn BUT make sure to use her 2nd skill last because of the skill cooldown. Then on 2nd wave use both koyan's 1st skill to reduce Sibuki's overall skill cooldown by 5 turns. By the 2nd wave you basically got triple Castoria buff (excluding 1 50% arts up) and triple Koyan buff. Therefore by wave 2 Sibuki will have 60% attack up, 90% np gain, 110% arts up, 174% buster up, 160% crit up (if using a buster card), 100% damage against man & human attributes, 150% damage against earth attributes, removes enemy defense (including Castoria's broken invul), and reduces enemy crit by 20%. I also forgot the 50 np charge that would still be available for use on wave 2. On wave 3 you will have all those buffs + X2 MLB 2030 because Sibuki gives herself 20 stars per turn.
It took me until the last day to finally get her. For a semi new JP account I was already farming all the singularities and got to LB3. Took me almost all my leftover quartz getting her after just getting proto Merlin before it.
I thought morgans year was very hard in terms of value on banners. Were still in the middle of this years summer on jp and i dont think i can save enough on my NA to get everyone i want
Don't forget the massive free quartz dump before this (well up to 1150 but only whales will have enough Servants for that, more likely to be 700 or so for f2p)
I dunno if I'd say "crisis averted", smol Ibuki could have been done cutely and variety is always nice. But Ibuki in any form doesn't do much for me so it doesn't matter much to me. Maybe my mind will change when I see her in EN.
@@jeksewnoleeray1020 in a gacha game it's inevitable that older characters will become useless compared to newer ones, but this is a pve game anyway so it's not as bad as it seems.

5:02 Did you just say "Nucking Futs"? What. (But then again, I really like Ibuki's Kit. She a pretty nice character to summon but those who say every other Servant would be useless compared to her, please don't do that. I love all characters I have. Not to mention, she's really good, but has no Survivability in her Kit. I mean full Offensive is Great, but you really need support in order to save her skin.)
Im glad summer Ibuki is arts Zerk cuz i don't have any on NA and I'm saving for Muramasa on NY so it would be wiser to skip her first banner. But this zerk tho, if I get Merlin first I'll definitely throw for her (if merlin doesn't fuck me over like she did on jp) EDIT: btw ppl saying that Musashi, Spishtar and Kama are dead now can kiss my ass
A new looper doesn't make the previous iterations unusable, I mean people are using zerk Lancelot to this day, I sort of view this as the Lambda v Fionn situation many agree Lambda is better but Fionn ain't no slouch, if you have Summer Musashi her performance didn't get any worse but if you didn't get her this banner is a golden opportunity
They really want to push Ibuki as the top-tier waifu, I can see what they're doing. Had her kit moved to another Summer unit, the reception would be very different.
I'm in a pickle. Visually I prefer OG Ibuki over the summer version. Now if only we could use alt servants as costumes that would solve my problem at once... Never liked to bring summer/Christmas/'other out of place looking outfits' to a major story fight. It just feels out of place even when the units/costumes look good.
As someone who absolutely despises Musashi, I am absolutely happy Ibuki Summer is a thing now. I can't wait for her and Summer Skadi to reach NA in 2 years. Na na na na Na na na na Hey hey hey Goodbye! (Data Lost)
@@KUROI6969 you're not wrong, I never rolled for any form of Musashi. My disgust of her comes solely for Shimousa and being forced to use her damn near the entire singularity (that and her entire personality just irks me, and she made that singularity drag on for longer than it should have with needles backstory). Heck, she singlehandedly made Shimousa more annoying to me than LB3 and its status effects/CC restrictions. And that's a damn shame because I actually quite liked the rest of the cast for Shimousa
