Thank you, Pastor G, for today's continuing studies of the Gospel of John, today's message pierced my heart. Your quote this morning "If Jesus can serve Judas, you can serve whoever has wronged you in some way." It was such an eye opener that it brought tears to my face. Thank you and all your staff for the blessing. Regards Norm

Hi Pastor Gary! I had to add one comment to this particular hour of scripture you are preaching on, in which part of it talks about foot washing at the last supper. Now what I’m about to say is just to give some extra information or clarity on the Brethren denomination that does practice foot washing. I grew up in the Brethren church. In the Brethren church we did not practice foot washing every Sunday, nor did we practice communication every Sunday. On the third Thursday of the month we had a special evening service called Love feast. It started around 6:00 in the evening so most people had time to get off work, go home and shower and change and drive to church. When we arrived at church we’d sit in the sanctuary and sing hymns while others arrived. Then the pastor would deliver a short message and afterwards we would separate into groups by gender. Women and girls would go into one room and the men and boys into another. We would sit in a circle singing hymns, one of the elder women would usually start foot washing the woman sitting next to her, when she finished then the they would hug and the woman who just had her feet washed would then wash the next woman’s feet and so on until it was done all the way around the circle. When finished we went to the fellowship hall to have a meal prepared by the Deacons which was like a beef stew, bread and water. Then when everyone was about done the pastor would speak again and that’s when we would then take part in communion. (Side note: only those baptized took part in communion, though any and everyone was allowed to take part in foot washing) anyways the only reason I brought this up was because you, Pastor Gary, had kind of made it sound like the church of the Brethren practices foot washing every Sunday which we definitely didn’t lol, that would’ve been weird and maybe stinky lol, but yea we did on these special occasions and it was a great experience growing up learning the importance of serving. (Especially knowing every did shower and get fresh before the came there those evenings lol) also wanted to add I put this in past tense because I do not go to the Brethren church anymore, I now go to a nondenominational church that I love, and the reason being, is because ...... our Brethren church and along with most of the Brethren churches in our district were/are liberal, leftist, democrat, secular and I personally don’t believe in the path the brethren church is taking. Please pray for them.
I’m sorry, Pastor but I cannot see you as protestant or any kind of religion. How I see you God has anointed you to bring the true gospel to all for in the hope of repentance God bless you and your family hallelujah
