I met Jaya Bachchan inside a lift at the Oberoi Grand, Kolkata once sometime around 2016ish. I didn’t acknowledge her nor was I rude, just minded my own business. I had aslo met Jaya Bachhan, Teji Bacchan and Shweta in the early 90s in a flight. That time Jaya Bachhan was I think the chairman of Children's Film Society of India or some such organization. Shweta was very sweet, gave eye contact and smiled. Teji Bachhan was very glamorous and looked sweet and well meaning. They don't just turn up like that.. they are notified by the PR team of the celeb and then they come.
