Tips: 1. not everyone has a single NIC 2. For those using a wifi NIC, they should use a proxy or VPN AS THE WAN, and use the WiFi IP as the local IP 3. Then set the DNS the same as the Default gateway for the WiFi NIC, IF THE DEFAULTS have not been changed for the DNS. 4. Have the CLIENTS NAT through the LAN/WiFi NIC

would you be able to do a vid on how to get good performance out of the VM server, as in what would the setup be in virtualbox and other things you could do in the vm to improve performance. also, good vids.

@@VypeReaper No difference between the two. Server Manager gives you a more centralized area for configuration.

If the game server isn't GPU dependent I would assume so. All the VMs I've used weren't built for GPU heavy tasks. If you've since tried this it'd be interesting to know.

Ran into a weird bug but was still able to progress. Using Settings > Network and Internet > Status and clicking Change Adapter Options gave me a "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not the have the appropriate permissions to access the item." error. I do have permissions as going through control panel > Network and Sharing yields zero errors.
