Want to say thank you for your videos. Definitely gives me places to start and hopefully keep it out of the shop and be able to fix my 2012 tahoe with service 4 wheel drive light on, on my own. Your time is appreciated!!
I must say my man you did not waste my time very very appreciated right to the point I like that thank you for helping me narrow my 4 wheel drive issues really great full thank you
Great video! On that note, I'm having an intermittent problem that I think is either the TCCM, the wiring, or???? Going usually highway speeds, every 20-100 miles (very random), it acts like something binds for a split second. Just imagine if your truck tried to go in 4-Low for a split second while going highway speeds. It is so random, I've had 3 shops that cannot figure it out.
Done been through all this, everything is working and no service 4wd, front wheels not pulling. Transfer case is working and turning front shaft, replaced front diff actuator and still nothing. Cleaned all grounds with no luck, am at a loss on what to do and am considering giving up on it.
My 04 Silverado 2500 is stuck in 4wd Hi. Light is on for service 4wd, and the button 4wd hi is lit up. But I press 2wd or 4wd lo and nothing happens. It went into 4wd hi easily, and then it just stopped working , any help!
Switch is probably bad , check fuses. If they’re good then get a ohm meter out and test your 4x4 switch itself. There’s a video on RU-vid for it. Beginning of the video dudes got a cigar in his hand
Still blowing ATC fuse under hood. I tried multiple different switches, ecms , cleaned ground under driver side. looks like fluid leak on the transfer case, can’t see any cracks. I even tried new actuator. Motor seems to make noise before blowing fuse again. Thoughts? Thank you!
I have a 2007 suburban. And the side fuse box doesn't have that 4wd sticker... Should I just check all the fifteen amp fuses in there. Also underneath the hood in my fuse box. It doesn't have the trek like you showed.
