I’m here after the 2021 nba finals and one of the announcer guys mentioned monty William’s speech so I had to watch it. I’m glad that I did! Everyone should be like this man including myself , loving,caring,positive no matter the circumstances. Forgiving and most importantly putting God first.

When you realized how God loves and forgives you for everything you have done. You will have no reason to hold back on forgiving others. It is difficult and painful but it is thru God's example of love, forgiveness that people of faith tries to emulate.
As much as I personally reject the notion of god and religion, I am quite proud to share the planet with Monty Williams. His strength and character are very admirable. Well done.

Words cannot describe how much Christian fortitude Monty Williams is exhibiting right here! This is the reason why we need each other as Christians so that we may inspire each other to keep the Faith and Trust in Him- regardless of the circumstances we face! Much respect to Monty and His family! Although I’m a Knick fan, I never knew when, He played for the team, that He was a child of God. I did know his wife passed and was hit my a driver DUI... so sad!!! This was a strong speech and very humble to give this about his loving wife. God Bless Him and he deserves coach of century.

It was very moving for me to see your strength Mr. Williams, i know that your faith in god is what supports that and i can only hope one day that i will have the same strength as yourself if i am to lose someone close to me. Prayers for all involved in this tragedy. Praise the lord Jesus Christ.

Although I am spiritual, I do not believe in the same god that this man does, he is such a good guy. I could only hope to be as strong as he has been in the face of something like this.
