Hey Ervin. From the bottom of my heart i wana say Thank you. I finally got my first job in I.T. A good 6 month’s contract to hire position and it’s a Hybrid also. Funny enough they were the ones who reached out to me through LinkedIN and asked for my resume. I wouldn’t have passed the interview without your help. Your videos gave me all the technical knowledge i needed. I answered all the technical questions they asked with so much confidence. No prior experience and no degree. Just hands on training and a GOOGLE IT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE. I’m excited and can’t wait to start. Thank you once again. You the goat.
Hey Ervin. I found your channel whilst I was trying to get my first IT role. Here I am today and I’ve been offfered a really good contract role. Thank you so much for your videos. Please don’t ever stop. I’ll probably still be watching your video for the next half a decade

Hello Megan. I'm glad to see that my videos are helpful. There is a lot to memorize but mostly easy stuff to learn. I wish you best of luck in your job search.
Hi Erwin, i must say you bring it 100% on your videos and they're so understandable. I'm trying to land my first job in IT and would like to gain access to practice the servicenow ticketing please. Thank you so much and keep up the good work 😊.
Hi Ervin, great video. very useful and informative. I would also like to take a look around with it if you could help me to try service now. Thanks in advance.
Hi Ervin, First of all, thank you so much for all the material. Thanks to your content, I passed my job interview. I can't wait to start working for the new company. They will be using Service Now. Please, can I have access so I can practice? Please, don't ever stop making these videos. I will be going through all of them before my job. And probably afterwards as well.
@@Cobuman Hello Ervin, I hope you are doing well. Your videos are always full of knowledge and resouces. I was wandering if you can give me access for service now user as well please. I really really want to practice that.
Hi I am new to IT field passed my examz and need access to service now -Further , would like to see different sceniors -with you as like your style of teaching .
Hey cobuman, I have been watching all your videos lately and they have been a great help for my IT career. If it's possible, I would also like to gain access to the system so I can practice using the ServiceNow ticketing system a bit.
hello Ervin, I used Service Now, in 2 companies. What I remember, is that on some occasions, after troubleshooting, the end user did not want the ticket to be resolved. There was the option to set it up for 24 hours, in ''waiting resolution'' monitoring. Not good for the Service desk technician, since you lose FCR resolution.
@@Cobuman Hello Ervin, in my case I was supposed to keep the ticket in queu, after done the troubleshooting, and confirm with the end user the resolution the day after
@@silvanabongiorno3292 oh, okay. That is the right thing to do regardless of resolution time requirements, and should not be counted against help desk employee.

hello, your content is amazing and very helpful. I would like to get access to browse around. I'm currently seeking new job opportunities and most of the companies im applying for use this ticketing software.
Hey Ervin, I have a question. After a ticket is created, is the "caller" able to interact with the ticket?... I mean, adding comments or things like that?
Yes, they can access their own ticket trough the servicenow portal. This is where they can submit tickets online. Or can call Help Desk and ask for a note to be added. Here is an example: dev248851.service-now.com/sp?sysparm_stack=no Login id: daniela Password: +r?kp*obeB7TahL37=Se]OBCYwqNeqOM#L2iam@ZGM%hyh#G:=p-CJ@8J1^Ok[^c(o]7Yd

Hi Ervin, thank you so much for these videos! Do you think it would be possible to get a login to look inside of ServiceNow a bit more? thanks so much!
Hi. Please how do I remotely connect to customers PC to provide IT support to them. Is it with the Servicenow tool or with any other remote connection tool or is it the remote connection tool approved by the company policy?
Hello. Great question. The KB should come up inside the ticket automatically based of the ticket description (keyword search based). As long as ServiceNow is configured correctly, you don't need to do anything to attach it.

Hello your videos are very helpful. I nailed the interview thanks to your videos. This Help Desk role requires Servicenow. How can i get access to practice?
@cobuman Hi, is it possible if you can do a video of the First 90 Days for a new hire Desktop Support Analyst? It seem difficult to find a video on RU-vid that actually touches of what to concentrate on the first 90 days as a desktop support analyst. The First 90 Days searches on RU-vid are generic and not specific to this career.

Great question. If you use an SMTP server that uses a domain name as the server address.... then you need a working DNS server to forward that domain name to the correct server. So, let's say smtp server is domain.com... but domain.com actual server is at 192.168.1.1; you need DNS to resolve that.
Hi Ervin hope you're doing good, i appreciate your knowledge Since am fresher n my company using can i get access to service now so that i can practice.
Hi Erwin...thanks for your efforts and work. I did send a request for login details or access credentials to practice on servicenow in the comments section of a previous video...but in case you missed that can you please kindly provide me one. Thanks

I'm sorry to bother you with this but when I click the link it asks for email and password. It doesn't ask for the ID. How do I get to the page you showed on the video?
@@b0xxkn1gh79 No problem. The website was hibernating. It goes to sleep if people don't log on to use it. You can try again, it will have a different login screen. I think it stays up for 8hrs.
