Servicing A Madea Tower Fan 

found this fan thrown out at the dealership I'm a janitor at. it's a basic tower fan and I can see why they fail. the top bearing is just a rubber bushing with grease. cheap all the way around. motor is decent. difficult to get apart. once you remove the screws you have to run a flat blade screwdriver along the seam to pop it in half. Anyway got it apart and cleaned the unit and gave it some oil. I put the fan to use in one of the bedrooms.
