Wonderful job! Great attention to detail. I had a seamaster torn apart waiting on replacement parts and this was an excellent reminder of just how everything goes back together.

Great work. You can't learn these skills in school. Well, you can but you need to have an aptitude for it in the first place and you need to just jump in and do it over and over again gaining skill with each movement you do. "How do you remember where everything goes" ? Each part only fits logically in one place like a puzzle piece, that's how.
@magicofwheels
@magicofwheels 2 года назад
Exactly, especially when you are in the country where there is no school for watchmakers........it tooks me years to understand and be able to do this.

What size horotec hand pushers do you use to place hour, minute, and seconds hands on eta 2836-2 movement?
@magicofwheels
@magicofwheels 2 года назад
For hand setting tools, I just got a set of them. One set you get 4 units of the pusher 2 sizes each. So basically you get 8 difference sizes. for 2836-2 movement, yes the hands to fit in all have the same pivot hole size but the size of the hands itselfs are varied by the design. I select the size of the pushers from the design.

@@magicofwheels Absolutely because of your videos- I especially liked how gentle you were removing and placing all parts. New hobbyists don't realize how easy it is to lose a piece (that you can't easily replace) if not extremely careful.
