Part of my issue is I need to do various bits but working on the side of the road as I have to makes things a little difficult especially stripping the van down rendering it unmoveable. I would love to get into things and MAX I'm quite envious if I may say so that you have the space. You're doing a great job, keep it up mate 👍

Hi Max, how did take the front end off. Is it bolted or welded. I have a 308 and I need to replace the altinator. Thanks

Hi Matt, you can easily replace the alternator from underneath, the hardest bit is releasing the tensioner pulley on the auxiliary belt, but yes the front end is just bolted into the wings with 4 bolts, but you will have to remove the radiator first to remove the front grill👍

I really admire your dedication, but I feel you are going down a road of massive expense. Like throwing your money into a barrel without a bottom! But I wish you the best and if you are enjoying the the journey then go fir it! Mick

Thank you Micheal. I do agree with you there, I didn't want to spend lots, I just wanted to get it on the road but it made sense to do it all now and also these vans and engines are worth so much, and I'm confident I'll get it on the road 😂
