I remember my high school prom like it was yesterday. I had my eyes on my crush for weeks, hoping they would ask me to the dance. As the night approached, I became more and more anxious. Finally, the day before the prom, I saw them choose another classmate as their date. I was devastated. Feeling down and alone, I decided to go to the prom by myself. I thought it might help me forget about the rejection and have some fun. While everyone was enjoying themselves, dancing and laughing, I couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment. I felt like I wasn't good enough and that my insecurities were holding me back. As the night went on, the DJ played "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. I hadn't really paid attention to the lyrics before, but that night, it felt like the song was speaking directly to me. As I listened to the powerful words and the emotion in Adele's voice, I realized that I needed to let go of the hurt and disappointment, just like the rain in the song. I decided to dance on my own, not caring about what others might think. I felt the music pulsing through my veins, and in that moment, I realized that I didn't need someone else's validation to feel worthy or happy. My journey to self-love and self-acceptance started right there on the dance floor, with "Set Fire to the Rain" playing in the background. From that night on, I made a promise to myself to work on my self-esteem and to prioritize my own happiness. Whenever I feel insecure or doubt myself, I listen to "Set Fire to the Rain" and remember that I am strong, capable, and deserving of love. So that's how this incredible song changed my life. I hope my story can inspire some of you to face your insecurities and remember that you are more than enough, just as you are.

"time is still going to continue, and you are going to be sad, but are you going to be a sad loser, or a sad winner?"- Tristen Tate. put all of that sad energy into something good. you have no time to be sad in this unforgivable world where the sun will still rise every morning no matter how your feeling.
@@sisin1236 I'm glad you're excited for it! Just wanted to let you know so you could maybe at some point show the original artist some love, cause it was their own creative thought that brought these songs together ya know. Cheers! 😁
