My first step with a blheli_S esc is flashing to bluejay 😅 love your videos, just finished my first airplane (heewing t1) and followed your setup video with inav. Flies beautifully!
My goodness my software is somewhat obsolete... how can I ever be expected to properly tinker without the latest software ? I can no .once fly but still love gtinkering and building . Current project a DC 3, omage to one of the scared I ever was on a plane the sonic view through the belly of the plane , the steel lawn chair seating, the stewardess who kept falling , the postage stamp landing pine fresh from the trees we clipped. True story lol. 1968, I may fudge and fly it once , but only a short maiden then give it away. A question if you have a esc, that only says 3s 30 amp how do you determine the operating system ? Babysitting and missed some of the video ...take care.
Hello Painless360! I hope you can take this pain away: Can i flash Inav onto a F405 Wing that has currently ardupilot on it? Ardu is too complicated for me, i want inav back, but it does not flash. Is it even possible? I dont want to buy another FC. Many thanks in advance.
I'm not him but I can help. Yes, you can definitely do that. You will need to force the board to DFU mode, usually by holding a button on it called boot or similar before powering it up. With that run the inav configurator and, in the firmware flasher enable "No reboot sequence" and "Full chip erase". You may also need to manually adjust the baud rate but it's not usual.
No, I stopped them as so many booked them and never turned up. Those kinds of sessions are Patreon only now. Free support is available here in the comments. What's the problem?
Hi Lee thank you so much for another great video🙏 Is there anyway to configure a blheli ESC if you are not using a flight controller and it’s just plugged in to the receiver. Would there be such a thing as an adapter cable from the blheli to the computer, as I only do basic flying and sometimes use kopilot lite flight controller. Or can you configure it with beeps example like a Simon K ESC. Many thanks!
They can usually be set up using the radio sticks. See the manual for the one you have. Those other options in BLHeli Suite are for the different adapters and connection methods... Happy flying!
