I love him he is so genuine about if he made a mistake he leaves it in record again as perfect. And he let his wife knows where he is at. Plus his backpack amazing. I love watching videos like this the peaceful rain or snowstorms helps me relax before bed and to see places that I don't get to go.

You could take some small but sturdy branches and make a frame for an aluminum foil reflector / cover for heat reflection (into your tent) and rain protection for the fire.
@@ComfyOutback - You'd definitely want them planted a few inches into the ground and metal binder clips used to hold folders together will hold it in place on the frame. You just need the upright sticks and don't need to lash anything. Horizontal pieces aren't needed. I'd suggest heavy-duty foil.

Great Video! When gathering wood from a fallen tree, if it is a tree that has sap the closer to the trunk that you cut the limb the higher the sap content. You could cut the ends of the limbs that were next to the tree and have a greater possibility of making a fire easier especially in the rain. I see that you had no problem making a fire but sap/pitch impregnated wood just makes a roaring hot fire quicker and easier. Maybe that tree does not have sap, I don't recognize that particular one. Just a possible helpful tip.

I was surprised that you stopped for so long after processing wood. I guess your hands were too cold. I think I’d press on to make the fire. It’s easy to be a backseat camper! I like your pack setup. Gives me ideas. Really feels weird watching you watch RU-vid.
